Do you have a recurring dream in which you are being chased by comedy ghosts whilst gobbling glowing pills? We do, but it’s only because we can’t wait to be shaken from our slumber each morning by the retro-tastic Pac-Man Alarm Clock.
Officially licensed, this kitsch tribute to an 80s icon diddly-woos you out of boboland via the evocative start-up tune from Pac-Man. It even emits a few seconds of spine-tingling wakka-wakka-ing. You’ll be transported back to the arcade the second you hear it. You might even start checking your ‘jama pockets for ten pees.
Battery operated, this eye-catching alarm clock features Snooze, Alarm Off and Backlight buttons represented by cherries, a bell and naughty ol’ Pinky – and if that particularly 80s name means nothing to you, there’s little point telling you about our other recurring dream involving Gorf, Duran Duran and Kim Basinger. Wakka-wakka!

really disapointing, stoped keeping time after a few weeks flimsy plastic, stickers on the buttons came off after being pressed a few times. The picture looks a whole lot better than it is and its costs way to much. AVOID!
Large digital screen, easy to read during the day.
At the press of a button you can activate the backlight for a few seconds, but
I was a little disappointed with that. It was just two green LEDs on the egdes
that didn't really light up the centre all that well, but it is good enough to
see the time when you wake up from your reoccuring nightmare in the middle of
the night.
When the alarm sounded for the first time, I was a kid in my local arcade again. It brought back so many memories…ah good times.
My major problem (which is why I only gave 3 stars) is that the alarm is
loud…very, very loud.
It didn't sound all that loud when I tested it during the day, but when it went
off the next morning I just about hit the ceiling. It gave me such a fright.
And the lack of a snooze button on Pac-Man's head means you have to fiddle with
the clock to find the correct button on the front. You can't just give it a
whack on the head.
Do yourself a favour and put a bit of gaffa-tape over the speaker to muffle the fog horn a bit.
