Wipeout Pure

To put it simply...
Wipeout Pure taps the potential of the PSP. It was a 'wee' wait for the next Wipout but it was well worth it.

For the people new to Wipeout, it is a step up from regular racing. Pick up ammunition for weapons and pass over Speed ramps to blow away your opponents and leave them in your wake.

My favourite mode of gameplay is ZONE...you really have to concentrate and be 'in the zone' to control your ship at increasing speeds around sloping and curving tracks.

Give it a try, its addictive

Love this game.
The graphics are superb with amazing particle effects.
The frame rate is silky smooth and the design of textures and environments are excellent.
The audio is also fantastic but you definitelty need to play with headphones to get the impact of the fantastic soundtrack and explosion effects.
The best part of the game is the design of the tracks.
Love the track with the hairpin bend that has you jamming on the airbrakes and hauling your racer round 180 degrees then flooring it again onto the straight.
WipEout Pure is so full of those great little moments- clouds billowing round loops in the track, sudden drops- that you can't help but smile as you play.
Huge fun.

This game would have to be the best racing game on the PSP. Wipeout Pure is quite fun and the graphics are very good. One thing that will stop you enjoying this game is the lack of different cars and racing tracks but later on that will all change because you will be able to download different tracks and cars off the net.

Wipeout is another great PSP title and is a must have.
