4 stars "Beatifully detailed and loads of fun. "

I'm one of the few who actually liked the first Two Worlds but I knew that Two Worlds II had to be a huge improve or else the franchise would die a painful death. And it is!
Two Worlds II is stunningly beautiful to look at, with a wide variety of untamed scenery and magnificently detailed architecture – both inside and out with both characters and NPCs wearing costumes with exquisite detail in sumptuous fabrics.
Two Worlds II has several large islands to explore that are crammed with a wide variety of wildlife to hunt and kill and with loads of side-quests you'll get to see all of it.
Instead of ‘stacking’ weapons and armour, as in the first game, you're able to disassemble excess items and use the parts to improve your favourite weapons and armour. If you fancy your skill at alchemy there're plenty of plants to find and combine with interesting results.
If you're a fan of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and FallOut type of free-ranging RPG you'll love Two Worlds II, and even if you're not I'm certain you'd like it too.

5 stars "Who would have thought a sequel could be this much fun!"

While the original Two Worlds was panned by critics around the world, I can personally testify that the sequel is a very different beast! Full of lush environments and dynamic lighting the sequel boasts an experience that while still a little ham-fisted in its delivery, is never the less a hell of a lot of fun! There's just tonnes to do, and a very satisfying RPG experience to be had with diverse character leveling and progression. You're always being rewarded for whatever you're doing, and never seem to be short of skill points to invest in your fantasy powerhouse. Of particular note is the spell creation system which is one of the more interesting that I have come across. Once you've invested enough points in the appropriate skills you will absolutely marvel at what you can achieve. While a little a slow to start, persevere and there is an extremely satisfying RPG experience to be had. A big thumbs up from me, and also a big thank you to Mighty Ape for importing the game!!

5 stars "Hours and hours of gameplay!!"

If you area big oblivion fan you will love this game. Defintly a step up from oblivion, lots of different landscapes, enemys, weapons, better fighting style, just all round upgrade of oblivion. I got it an went to play for 10min to see what it was like an 4 hours later thought I better turn it off. Hours and hours of gameplay an easy to get addicted to, solid 5 stars from me.

4 stars "Movement is fiddly."

My only complaint about this game is that the character movement is not as smooth as it could be, horse riding is even worse. The movement relies to heavily on one analog stick, when it could have been spread out more evenly over the two sticks.

The customization in this game is pretty awesome, down to being able to change the colour of your armour. And there is lots more to like, but the other reviews have covered most of that.

I would have to give Oblivion the edge over this game, but that is just my opinion. If there is Two Worlds III, lets hope it gives Skyrim a run for its money.

Description

A breathtaking journey into Antaloor's past After the downfall of Aziraal, God of Fire, the Dark Lord Gandohar has nearly achieved his objective to disrupt the balance between the elements. Dark magic surges into the land to fill the void. Recognizing the potential for complete control over the dark powers, Gandohar starts to use the power of Aziraal trap within Kyra, the descendant of the Orphans. Despite her ancestry, Kyra cannot endure the strain. With Antaloor already in his clutches, Gandohar concocts a new plan from his stronghold in Oswaroth.

There are still those who struggle against the tyrant, hoping to shift the balance of forces in their favor. The fight for Antaloor continues… Five years have passed since dramatic events brought the whole world to the edge of the abyss. The hero is a prisoner in the dungeons of Gandohar's castle. His hopes of saving his sister vanished with his freedom. Just as despair threatens to overcome him, hope comes from where he would have least expected. The Orcs, a race the hero had always hated, have put together a rescue squad that frees the hero from his bonds. He emerges into a land desecrated by evil. He embarks on a journey to shed light on Gandohar's dark past, hoping to discover a weak point in his enemy's defense. If he fails, he will lose his sister forever.

A perfect mix of flexibility, creativity and state-of-the-art technology "Two Worlds II" is a perfect blend of classic and innovated RPG features, atmosphere, and technology. A complex quest system and an exciting main story draw you into the world of Antaloor, made richer by secondary quest scenarios. Rich gameplay and engaging atmosphere propel the story and captures attention, promising danger and exploration throughout the many quests and video sequences.

Enhanced AI, balancing standards, experienced authors, an active combat system, the innovative DEMONSTM magic management, and the PAPAKTM alchemy system guarantee enjoyment for new and experienced gamers. The game also offers extreme flexibility in the weapon and armament design possibilities.

The cornerstone at the heart of this feature is the newly created 'CRAFT'TM tool. Players can break down items into their basic materials and create new unique items. "Two Worlds II" is also graphically superb. The powerful GRACETM engine offers technological highlights such as an unlimited number of dynamic light sources, 24 bit HDR post-processing, and Real Eye Adaptation. It will drastically reduce loading times, improve general game performance, and enable full gameplay with only moderate hardware requirements.
