Description

**This is the U.S version, which will work on NZ/AU PAL consoles. However, it will not be compatible with NZ/AU DLC content. **

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector's Edition includes:

  • Alduin Statue. Created in conjunction with the IP Factory, this collector's only statue stands 12" tall and is made of high quality PVC. Modeled from actual in-game 3D digital files, it showcases Alduin, the World Eater.
  • The Art of Skyrim' Official Art Book. Featuring over 200 pages of striking, full-color illustrations, sketches and models, this stunning 9 3/8" x 12 1/8" coffee table book showcases the characters, creatures, environments, and weaponry of Skyrim.
  • The Making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' DVD. This documentary DVD contains exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews with the Bethesda Game Studios team.

The next chapter in the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls saga arrives from the makers of the 2006 and 2008 Games of the Year, Bethesda Game Studios. Skyrim reimagines and revolutionizes the open-world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world open for you to explore any way you choose.

The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

Features:

  • Epic Fantasy Reborn – Skyrim reimagines the open-world fantasy epic, pushing the gameplay and technology of a virtual world to new heights.
  • Live another life, in another world – Play any type of character you can imagine, and do whatever you want; the legendary freedom of choice, storytelling, and adventure of The Elder Scrolls is realized like never before.
  • All New Graphics and Gameplay Engine – Skyrim's new game engine brings to life a complete virtual world with rolling clouds, rugged mountains, bustling cities, lush fields, and ancient dungeons.
  • You Are What You Play – Choose from hundreds of weapons, spells, and abilities. The new character system allows you to play any way you want and define yourself through your actions.
  • Dragons Return – Battle ancient dragons like you've never seen. As Dragonborn, learn their secrets and harness their power for yourself.

5 stars "Well worth getting just for the Alduin Statue..."

Well done Mighty Ape for importing the C.E. In for us, which is more than Bethesda could keep up with doing. All 200 NZ C.E.s of this game went in one morning as preorders and Bethesda did not give a flying monkeys about distributing any more, even tho there are STILL versions available in the US where I was forced to order mine from. Lucky we have someone whom cares like MA to step into the sadly lacking breach…
Do not be fooled by the WEIGHT, or lack thereof, of the statue once you hold it in your hands. PVC is plastic, but not cheap plastic, et least in regards to design and detail. My Alduin statue has pride of place next to the best versions I own of Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion and with the famous Ortelius map of Islandia on the wall behind it, which both Christopher Tolkien and Bethesda used as a basis for the maps in their father's and the Elder Scrolls' works respectively. Besides this is nearly one hundred dollars cheaper than the original asking price for those lucky enough to have obtained a preorder of the original Collector's Edition…
