With the PlayStation Move motion controller in your hand, start becoming the star of the show, the hero at the centre of the battle or the sportsman with the skills to make the opposition stop and stare.
The corner stone of PlayStation Move, PlayStation Move motion controller combines advanced motion sensors, a dynamic color changing sphere, vibration feedback, and an easy to use button interface. Equipped with three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer and terrestrial magnetic field sensor, PlayStation Move motion controller tracks the precise movements and the angle of the controller. The PS3 system also detects the absolute position of the controller in 3D space by using PlayStation Eye camera. Highly sensitive movement tracking can be accurately traced back to the game, allowing intuitive gameplay as if the player is within the game.
Features:
The technology behind the playstation move is second to none. I was amazed the first time I was playing sports champions, immediately noticing just how much better the true 1:1 controls are on the playstation move compared to the Wii remote. Even with MotionPlus, the Wii doesn't even come into the same league as the Playstation Move.
Be warned, however, that many of the launch games don't really show anything new in terms of motion controls. Of the 5 launch games, the only one I can truely recommend is Sports Champions, because it is an excellent showcase as to what the Move is capable of, but also a heap of fun to play. I also enjoyed the $19 PSN game Tumble.
The controller itself is of excellent build quality, better than the Wii Remote, and even the squishy ball on top which lights up an array of colours for different in-game purposes, allowing the PS Eye camera to track it with amazing precision.
Overall, the PS Move is without a doubt the best motion controller ever – it looks better than Xbox Kinect too, its just a matter of waiting for more games to come out – but the list of upcoming supported games is massive, so there is nothing to worry about. An absolute must-purchase! 10/10
Playstation move could be the next ‘big thing’. With its 1 to 1 motion tracking, the possibilities are endless. It will blow all competitors out of the water. The amount of games already announced that are coming out with move compatibility like Killzone 3 and the ones going to be patched like Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5, make this a definite day one purchase in my books.
I've seen games that are compatible with this, the graphics, movement detection and over all experience surpass that of the wii (which I own) the problem is that this feature will not be compatible with big titles like cod or assassin's creed. Games it does work with are definitely of a lower quality than the top range games like cod etc. I still find my Wii fun with friends and I think that PS move will make this experience better. This is recommended for those who want the FUN side from their PS3, not the hardcore FPS gamers who can only are only concerned with their kill/death ratio in modern warfare 2.
Have been waiting for the PS3 move to come out and myself and kids think it is great, the motional controller is easy to master, even for non players like my husband and what a load of fun to be had on a rainy, cold day, well done playstation, can't wait for other titles and a fit seris to come out
The Stuff Worked Very Well And Were Amazing. I Would Have Gotten The Same Thing At A Retail Shop But It Would Have Cost Me More. Well Done. Thank You Might Ape. I Loved It.
