PlayStation Move Bundle (PS3 Eye + Motion Controller + Demo Disc) reviews

The technology behind the playstation move and Eye camera is second to none. I was amazed the first time I was playing sports champions, immediately noticing just how much better the true 1:1 controls are on the playstation move compared to the Wii remote. Even with MotionPlus, the Wii doesn't even come into the same league as the Playstation Move.

Be warned, however, that many of the launch games don't really show anything new in terms of motion controls. Of the 5 launch games, the only one I can truely recommend is Sports Champions, because it is an excellent showcase as to what the Move is capable of, but also a heap of fun to play. I also enjoyed the $19 PSN game Tumble.

The controller itself is of excellent build quality, better than the Wii Remote, and even the squishy ball on top which lights up an array of colours for different in-game purposes, allowing the PS Eye camera to track it with amazing precision.

Overall, the PS Move is without a doubt the best motion controller ever – it looks better than Xbox Kinect too, its just a matter of waiting for more games to come out – but the list of upcoming supported games is massive, so there is nothing to worry about.

The best thing is the price – the Move controller is a bargain compared to the $100 wii remote, but all the games are cheaper than average, just $50–60. An absolute must-purchase! 10/10

Believe it or not the ps move is so damn accurate. I love this thing and it's sort of better then the Wii. I would definitely recommend PS3 owners to buy this as it's also a good entertainment for the whole family. The only thing we have to wait is for some good games to come out other than Sports Champions is a must have game to see what really ps move is.

The one thing that is going to seperate the playstation move from the xbox kinect is that it has buttons which will make it able to be used for gun games the kinect will probab ly have to bring out a controller for gun games as the camera can't be precise enought to pick up a pull of a trigger in midair. The move is so precise though and using the eytoy to track the glowing ball is brilliant. This is gonna be the number one gaming experience!

This was without a doubt a product that will stay for years to come. The Playstation Move definitely feels like a Nintendo Wii remote but feels a lot more precise and fits more to your hand. With plenty of games already on offer this is one piece of tech to get your hands on NOW!!!!!

Super quick delivery

For what you pay, you get a lot in the box. Even a decent webcam for your computer isn't this well priced and you can game with it.

If you're looking to Move get this product to start you off, totally worth it and the range of Demo's in the box are great too :)

Very cheap and lots of fun for young and old,had hours of fun playing with it but I would recomened getting another move controller for certain games I dont think the ps3 controller works that good.

This is what the wii shoudve been. Ive played a few games on it and ive not once had any issue with responsive controls like ive had with the wii from time to time.

However the catalog of games for it at the moment is rather weak but that seems to be picking up.

Hours of fun to be had by every member of the family. Very easy to use, some very cool games out there to play.

Comes with demos and cant wait to buy an actual full game as the motion sensor is extremely responsive and is really good especially for table tennis.

Not really sure if I like it more in a group or by myself. It really depends on the game. Worth buying.

This is so much fun and it's pretty amazing how the graphics are done. My husband and I have become very competitive since playing this game so it's not just one for the kids. Would recommend as a great family game or a party game with your mates. Well done Sony I think you have out done the Wii.

I cannot believe how good it is!! The movement is so accurate in every axis. It catches all the moves you make and its so easy to get the hang of. Great addition to any PS3 owners collection

Bought this for my girlfriend and her little brothers for xmas. Got in a sneaky play before I wrapped it and know theyl have a mean xmas playing it. Delivery was nice and easy with no hassel. Looking forward to using mightyape again in future.

Very awesome device and functions perfectly with racket sports was a skeptic but now a believer.

Now I know a lot of people are claiming that the PS Move is nothing more than a rip-off of the Wii, but considering they were both conceived in 2001, that can be put to rest here. Had the Wii waited until now to release, perhaps it wouldn't suffer from such lag, not to mention gross inaccuracy. The Move itself is absolutely fantastic, and I haven't stopped playing it since I bought it. I recently bought Resident Evil 5 with Move support and am literally about to play it right now. Next on my list would be The Shoot, but honestly, there are so many genres to choose from. I'm definitely glad I bought this, and am certainly intending to buy another soon.

I played this at the Armageddon Expo, the controls were tight and felt quite responsive, the price is quite suitable also.

My only concern however is the games releasing that will support it. Will they be an important feature in the coming games? or just a gimmick? only time will tell.

This has got to be the best thing that has hit the market with technology and affordability, and yes for the PS3! :)

It seriously is a must buy, excellent for the family, will provide hours of entertainment. Looking forward to what else Sony has instore in the coming months!

The playstation move is very good at motion control and as more games come out for it the playstation move experience will only get better.

Going to start by saying I own 3 ps3s and am a big Sony fan. I have very mixed feelings about this product and am going to try give an accurate review to help people that are undecided about getting a move.

I was not going to get a move but we were cruising some stores and it was setup. So I tried frisbee golf. Well I was sold strait away. The graphics awesome the controller comfortable. Even little movements in my hand gestures picked up accurately.

I purchased one a couple of days later. Got home with sports champs and a demo disk. Excellent except for my friends ribbing me over the move achievments :) downloaded a bunch o demos and everything was working really well.

But here is where the wheels started to fall off. I am sick of calibrating again and again. I bought and downloaded some more serious games. I cannot get heavy rain to calibrate for example. Tried and tried. Thought it was me or a faulty move controller. Checked forums this is pretty common. Other games calibrate ok but as soon as I start playing the reticle on screen starts to drift.

I am also bother by the thought of buying 4 controllers one of the games that appeals to me is the fight game. But for me and a friend to play we need 4 controllers.

Summery: this has great possibilities and we will only get to see this as more games come out and developers get this nailed down.
To buy this kit though is quite cheap and absolutely worth getting.
