3 stars "Reign over them all."

This game is addictive. Seriously. At first it does seem a bit auckward and limited in troop sending, but if the thrill of being the ultimate bad guy, stealing souls, killing baby seals and generally rampaging through the coutnryside appeals, then thsi title is for you.

The biggest negative to this title is the pixelation of the graphics. Even at its highest settings, the graphics are lacking a bit.

That said, the title is just fun and while it can take some time to get to the action, thsi combination hack and slash and RPG explorer is pretty sweet. Upgrading your weapons, armour and controlling villagers to do you bidding is just too much fun.

5 stars "Just a great bit of fun "

If you've ever played Pikmin on the Nintendo then you'll know what I mean by an evil version this game is great fun you get to be the bad guy in charge of a horde of minions that will kill or destroy anything for you there's a great variety of things to do things to search for it has great re-playability 3 different endings depending on what you decide to do this is a must have to me

5 stars "''''''great''''"

Overlord II retains the gleeful maliciousness of the series; thus, it's still great fun to have a small army of nasty little blighters at your disposal to wreak havoc. But because the in-game camera is still shaky, the targeting spotty, and the minions apt to do some very dumb things, you can expect quite a bit of frustration to go along with your enjoyment.

4 stars "Worth a look"

A good game but falls short on being excellent as the game falls short in a few areas, i.e. Lenght of gameplay and lack of puzzles. Controlling your minions could have goine into more depth. Nice graphics and upgrade options though.

1 stars "Sweet Game, Sweet Price"

I thought this was a great game for a rainy day, pretty cruisy play with easy to follow controls. Not alot of replay value but great if you dont want to have to think much.

Pumped that I got this on special, THANKS MIGHTY APE A+

4 stars "Just plain fun!!"

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this game, but as soon as I put it into the machine I was hooked! I AM THE OVERLORD! What a hugely entertaining game. Special powers, humor, fun and of course minions to do whatever you want them to do! What more could you want! This game is entertainment all the way!

3 stars "evil?"

Looks nice!, but doesn't play well at all.

Controls are bad, unimaginative level design, and Backtracking, all lead to this game being a failure

If you liked the first one a lot, then i would suggest you rent it, but if you didn't, then don't buy it, it adds nothing new, and for new players, does nothing to draw them into the game!

2 stars "Could have been a better sequel..."

Overlord 2 follows the sequel to Overlord: Raising Hell. I found this game to be somewhat lacking in ease of game-play in comparison to Raising Hell and the problems that existed in the first game still appear in this one such as minion control and targeting.

I would have thought these problems would have been rectified however instead they have added little tidbits like mounts and becoming a minion which the game could easily do without as it adds little extra to the overall effect.

This is definitely a rent to try before you buy.
