"Shaping Up"
Homefront deals in the fictional future where Kim Jong Il passes away and his son unites North and South Korea. They then invade Japan and become a massive superpower.
Long story short, the unified Korea attacks America and succeeds.
Homefront is not a game about defending America from an invasion. America has already been invaded. It is now time to fight back!
From the several videos and articles so far Homefront is shaping up to be a solid shooter with an immersive single player.

"Very Addictive Multiplayer!"
Very impressed with this game! The single player campain seemed to be quite
short and ends pretty abruptly but was enjoyable and visually very good.
As for the multiplayer this game has been great and the more I play the better
it gets. The game is more similar to Battlefield Bad Company 2 than Call of
Duty games. If your a fan of vehicles there are a good selection. Large maps
with up to 32 players rate high with me but there are only a few different
types of game play so far but more than enough to keep you occupied.
If you enjoy first person shooter multiplayer games then I would recommend
this game!

Seen the trailer and its amazing. Can't wait to see what has become of the United states. Eagerly awaiting time to kick some Korean butt. An awesome array of weapons which adds to the first person experience. Finally a game which you can feel really apart of the battle.

Large scale warfare like on MAG but minus the flaws with that.
The videos that are more recent show this being better than Black Ops and Battlefield but only time will tell.

"Result of hiring a graphics team on the cheap..."
I rent before I buy – like try before u buy. Rented this in the weekend and felt I wasted $8 (cheap a** I know). Graphics were poor and checkpoints frustrating – this is comparing it to recently played CallofDuty MW2. All they have done is added kids crying in the background to pull the heart strings. I would be disappointed if I paid $100 for this.
