5 stars "AWESOME!!!"
Everything is explained in the title.. F.E.A.R. A truly amazing game, if you liked the first F.E.A.R. then this one is a must!! Twists and surprises around every bend, it will make your spine tingle. A large array of new weapons, extraordanarily graphic blood and gore, mouth-watering explosions, and the one feature we all love.. Bullet Time! Slow down time as you watch your frag grenade disentegrate and dismember enemys. This game is a must have for all first person shooter fans!

5 stars "Hold me"
Just got back from work about an hour ago, and was ready to jump into some F.E.A.R 2. My initial take on the game was "Oh yeh, plays like F.E.A.R, looks like F.E.A.R with sweeter textures. Oh an Alma's back."
Needless to say I wasn't stoked. Had decent horror scenes, good action, but nothing amazing.
Until I got to the hospital. I haven't seen any major scares yet, but the ones that I've witnessed in that place have scared the s@#t outta me.

And then I had to sneak behind some guys with flamethrowers while I was defenseless. I grabbed an SMG, went slo-mo and accidentally capped the Flamedude's backpack of explosive materials. BOOM. The gore and fast-paced action of that one scenario took me completely by surprise, and has got me begging for more. I took the time to write a brief description of what I thought of the game for you folks, but already I'm going through withdrawal, so I'll see you guys later XD

4 stars "Good old Horror Action "
Well, Just finished the single-player storyline today. I must say that this game was surprising to me, as i didn't like the first F.E.A.R. but this one near blew me away.

Graphics-The graphics in this game are top notch, running it smoothly 720p on my Samsung 22inch and it looked phenomenal, although the fact that the xbox 360/PC version support 1080p or higher and the PS3 is JUST 720p is a little weird...still looks great though, with noticeable high-res textures and amazing particle/lighting effects. Character models however..could use some work.

Sound-Probably the best part of F.E.A.R. 2 is the sound effects and such. The guns all have their own distinct sound and the effects made when Alma is just around the corner..*shivers* its really intense, especially when on 5.1 surround sound.

Gameplay-As much as i disliked the original F.E.A.R. the one thing that stood out for me was the cool ability to use Slow-Mo. Its back again in F.E.A.R. 2 and its extremely fun. i practically used this the whole way through the game, since im such a noob..but standard shooting mechanics are fine enough. AI is pretty tough aswell, using cover and blind fire to their advantage.

Story-As far as i can remember, F.E.A.R.s story was average IMO..however this one is a bit more interesting, but still a bit on the WTF side. Its full of Mystery and suspense and you play as a Grunt in the special forces unit. things turn bad not too far into the story and from there..it got interesting...er.

Well that about sums up the review, hope this helps any potential buyers. =)

4 stars "Good. Let's leave it at that."
The action is great, the horror isn't bad - but far too predictable! This is also due to the fact your HUD(Heads Up Display) alerts you when something paranormal is nearby(in this case, Alma). I really love the horror scenes though, some of them are really awesome! I would however, recommend playing this at night because otherwise you just would feel like you're there. Overall, I'd give this game an 8/10. Bang bang. Scream. Buy it!

5 stars "Demo was damn promising!"
Just played the demo a few days ago and it totally blew me away. I didn't really enjoy the first FEAR but was still hopeful for FEAR 2 to blow me away and it did!

The game itself is pretty tight. Controls are good, guns are fun, shooting guys is damn fun and the slow motion is still awesome. It had a few good scares and all but what I found most exciting bout this sequel was the crazy amount of blood and gore it came with!

The sequence with the mech was also visceral and although it kinda took away from the horror factor, it definitely added to the AWESOME factor! xD

Looks damn good and hopefully the full game is as good too!
