E A has put alot of work into this game and it show. Graphics are fantastic
and game play is great.
Player creator is good with a lot of customization options including shirts,
shorts, shoes, rackets, glasses, wrist bands and even socks.
Only 2 things to fault.
First, when you hit the ball it sounds more like some kind of firearm being set
off rather than the “thud” of a tennis ball on your strings.
Secondly, in career mode you have 10 years to become the best player to ever
play the game and are joined with current top pros like Djokovic, Nadal, Federer
etc and past pros such as John Mcnroe and Borris Becker. Sounds challenging
right- In my first season I strolled through (once figuring out the controls in
my first match) the entire first season winning every tournament (including the
4 grand slams) and only dropping 1 set on the way. When I first played Nadal
I was pumped. He had a skill rating of 80ish and I was only 35 yet I managed
to beat him 3–0, 3–1. After all the work that has been put into this game
I thought they would have at least made it a challenge.
To sum up, A lot of fun but something I personally will get bored with
quickly. If you enjoy pounding opponents by massive margins and hitting all
sorts of winners all over the court then this is the game for you.
