5 stars "The beast of possibility"

The biggest and the baddest mecha game is back! And yes, we do get the unicorn this time! The beast of possibility featured in the latest Universal Century anime. Also known as Gundam Musou 3, the game is packed with more juice than ever before! This time Gundam Musou 3 features a number of gameplay additions to the series, including three brand new featured systems. Also, a great news for those who enjoyed watching the shows in Japanese. The game this time will be reintroducing Japanese voice option so players get to enjoy the best of both worlds.

3 stars "They took out the story theme, but you get to play on-line now"

I waited so long for this game, and finally I could get it with discounted price, however, I'm a bit disappointed with some areas.

First of all, they forced you to start the game with 00Raiser, and after 2 missions you finally get to choose your preferred character from a limited selection........

Some of the characters are not available right from the start, so you may have to spend some times with the ones you don't like, until they show up as playable

They've removed the story theme in this one, unlike what they did in Gunmam Musou 2. Instead they created a random map system, in story/history mode, you get to play against the enemies according to the anime, but maps are just randomly chosen from maps you've already played before, so you don't get the feeling to relive those story events because the theme is not related to the story at all

However, they did make an online mode, which is better than none........ And there are still a few players are playing it, even this morning...... Probably for the 100 online mission trophy

The best part about this game is if you are a collective freak like most of the RPG (or Musou) players, you'll love this game. Because you'll spend hours trying to get all the MS or Character.

So other than repetitive button bashing, this game really isn't hard to earn an platinum trophy......

If you are a Gundam fan, you've got to try this, is different from Gundam Musou 2, if you are not a fan......... You would probably like to start with Armored Core series

One last comment, PSN NZ does not have the DLC contents yet, i'm not sure if it will be released in future, but you can probably get it from Australia PSN, since the zone and game codes are the same

2 stars "Severely lacking"

First time i purchased a Dynasty Warriors game & im not overly impressed. You're just moving from area to area pressing square to kill hordes of enemies. The environments & fight mechanics are really lacking.
No open world environments which the PS3 could easily handle are surprisingly non-existent which is a shame.

On a positive note, there's a nice range of Mobile Suits to choose from including the recent series such as Gundam SEED, SEED Destiny & Gundam 00

5 stars "Best Dynasty Warriors: Gundam yet"

Finally there are three new Gundam Wing characters,.
They have removed some characters but a lot more have been added from new series and old (Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory,Unicorn, and 00).
No Offical mode now but the Story mode left is a mix of the 1st and 2nd games. Much better
No floating in space battles now, all now on ground or space base (Which looks like why the missing characters from the Char's counter attack are not in this. Gyunei Guss, Hathaway Noa, Quess Paraya)
There are new tactics for battles in which taking over certain areas 1st brings tatical advantage i.e Missile base and new Partner Strike
Well worth a purchase
Enjoyed this game a lot more than the other two combined Really enjoyed new Wing characters.
Bring on more Wing characters in next addition
