PS3 500GB Console Bundle reviews

Been a PC gamer for a long time, just got a PS3 Love IT, Mobility to anywhere with ease!! No need to install any games, just put the disc in and your away.

Would recommend one to anyone in the mood to chill out and get there game on.

$355 for a 500GB, bargain even with PS4 just around the corner.

Can't believe I didn't buy a PS3 earlier… So much I missed out on.

I had an xbox 360,but I think the PS3 is a better machine all round.

GT 6 is large game with plenty to do. The 500gb console is essential noting how much downloadable content there is. Needless to say that a speedy internet connection and reasonably large data cap are needed to get the most out of this package. All in all, worth purchasing!

Its good enough that you get the PS3 than most places but to get lots of extras is an amazing bonus!!

My GOSH!!! Coming home and finding the entire PS3 package and a new TV was the biggest, AWESOME surprise I ever received from my brother. I had the PS3 on my Wish List and now I have it. To have it nicely gift wrapped and addressed to me was very well done. Geez it was like it was Christmas already hahahaha. Indeed just what I wanted!!!! :D :D :D

Awesome games (last of us & beyond) must plays

The PS3 has such great variety in its exclusives, and they're mostly all amazing

I've got it connected to my poor 3:4 SD TV with the yellow composite cable and my 16:9, 1920×1080 computer monitor by HDMI so I can switch between sitting in front of my computer and lying in bed to play it. Unfortunately it outputs too small on my SDTV to properly see what's going on, but that's a fault of the ancient TV, not the PS3. The sound is plugged into my computer's line-in via red and white composite cables using a composite to 3.5mm adaptor, and outputs through either my computer headphones or speakers. It works well.

The Last of Us was magnificent. As someone who hates 90% of the games I play (yeah, it makes sense for a person like me to put money down for a gaming console), once I got into it I couldn't stop playing. The writing, voice acting, characterisation and dialogue are of high quality. The gameplay is fun, and the crafting system is useful and varied while remaining intuitive. For such a story-driven game, parts of the story(such as some towards the end) are a little disappointing or difficult to believe, but as far as stories told in video games go, The Last of Us is miles ahead of most titles.

I bought the PS3 for console exclusives (as I have a PC) and the only other game I've got so far is RDR, which is all right. I prefer GTA's modern settings, as gameplay like herding cattle is boring, but the shooting, story and characters are solid. Not as good as GTA, but Rockstar haven't had as much practice creating gameplay in a 19th century western setting as they have had in modern cities.

I've also used the PS3 controller on my PC to play Thief II, which made that game's controls a little easier to navigate.

The complaints I have about the PS3 are the loud, faltering BD drive that sounds as though the PS3 is having a stroke, and the lack of backwards compatibility.

All I have to say is My Xbox 360 was so much better

I brought a 12gb PS3 and put a 1Tb external HDD in and it was still cheaper than this one
