4 stars "If you've got broadband..."

This would have been a great game if the Massively Multiplayer service hadn't been cancelled. However, I believe it is still a good game. Some of the puzzles are a bit time consuming, but I found it less frustrating than the average FPS. Another thing to note is that it is still possible to play online using the fan-run UntilURU servers, see: http://plasma.cyanworlds.com

The graphics are certainly stunning, but require a very high spec computer to reach their full potential. Definitely worth it for any Myst / Riven fan.

2 stars "So who lost the plot hmmm?"

A complete bore – apart from the stunning graphics there is no relevance here to previous Myst series. Has no continuation to the original storyline and frankly – who's that interested in the Díni, the makers might be, but it's way too obscure. Cannot save games where you choose, no zip mode and unlike other Myst games you can die or get trapped frequently then you are taken painfully back to a point you have played…A most uninteresting story
