5 stars "A well built RTS"

After suffering though another EA “plenty of graphics no content” C&C build, this is a very refreshing change, well built looks good and has a decent tutorial that can help teach the basics of the game.

The humans are paste basically however the humans hero units are funny (cigar smoking chain gun wielding nut).

The novas faction is like the “squeaky clean good guys”. – but the giant mecha suit is a laugh straight from Saturdays anime.

I havent had much play with the other factions but you actually get to be the big bad bad guys, (and build huge walker things) Which is of course entertaining.

Has good multi player, is stable and supports SLI , with Directx 10 , pity this one went under the radar for alot of gamers, as it is vastly superior to CNC 3, by a long shot. I do hope this gets turned into a series.

5 stars "I freaking love it"

Petroglyph has done an outstanding job with this one.

The game features 3 completely unique factions, nothing like you've ever played before. Each one is completely different from the other in terms of strategies as well as units and buildings. The campaign has a gripping storyline and throws you right into the thick of the action.

Overall a great buy, though a few annoying UI decisions Petroglyph made doesn't allow you to select Hierarchy walkers along with your standard units and the loss of unit control ability for the Novus can get rather frustrating

3 stars "Universe At War"

Overall is a great game but lacks in its selection of units. Most games you see these days have a large selection. But this game makes up for this in its game play lets hope we see better things from the next one.

"It blew my mind"

The second I saw the starting movie, I knew it was going to be a great game, and you can really tell that the music was done by Frank Klepacki (same guy who did the music for Empire at War, and the Command And Conquer series) the game itself has a great story line, if slightly clique but the 3 distinct races are different enough, yet also balanced so that the gameplay is enjoyable and still challenging.

4 stars "Good, not great"

Universe at War is a good game, their isn't anything that wrong with it but there's nothing great in here either. The best part about it is probably that all 3 factions are totally different from each other with gives the game some good variety. It also uses the LIVE features quite well.
