Turok reviews

This is a desperate attempt to wring the last drop of blood from a franchise that should have been buried long ago.

First the game has absolutely nothing to do with Turok, The developer has ignored pretty much everything that made the previous games great.

Then the gameplay is sluggish and jumpy with forgettable plot pieces and characters. The only thing that bears resemblence to the Turok of Old is the fact that it has dinosaurs in it.

All in all if you haven't played any of the previous games, you're not going to do yourself any injury by playing this game. That is because it shares only a name in common with the classic Turoks.

The campaign was pretty good. The dinosaurs had good graphics but I prefer shooting games online but this game is a deadzone online.

I think after playing the original game on game boy this adaptation of it was mint.the game boy version didnt realy tell the story as well as the new games for pc and xbox 360. this story really tidied this up.I got this game for pc and found it ran great on my i7 with the ati RAEDEON 1GB graphics card it was faultless.I found the textures and detail fairly good the odd enviromental image sumtimes let it down but on a whole it was good.I tried using the xbox 360 controller on the game but found that the sensitivty for character control laged a bit and was to slower movement ta play with so had to revert to the mouse and keyboard and also found that the controller didnt have enough buttons to map so couldnt have it pluged into my tv and play without my laptop n front of me which was a bit annoying but i spose if i wanted to use a controller i would have got it on xbox insted.overall i enjoyed the game and enjoyed the story and conclusion of the game.gameplay was mean with mint meat fountians and ai behavior.glad i got TUROK!!!
