"The best RTS for you dollar!"
This is, by far, the best RTS game I have ever played. The grafix are great and plentiful. As with most RTS games managing resources and fighting wars can be a bit overwhelming at times. But with RoL there is no worries. Everything seems to meld together naturally, and it leaves the game play, as a terrific experience. Following the campaign is good, but there is some lassitude to, 'do it your way'. It is a 'must - have' for any and all RTS players.
"Ok. Shame about multiplayer"
Don't get me wrong this is a great game but could be improved in some aspects. The single player game is compelling and a unique feature of choosing which area to attack is stimulating. The campaign is the best selling point of the game but normal skirmishes and mutiplayer is disappointingly neglected. My most annoying thing about single player and multiplayer is that lots of the campaign features are annoyingly not used. Like having a campaign map where you could go head to head with another player or computer and make your own campaign maps and also use more of the campaign content which is easily missed in the campaign. I give it 3/5
"What a Gem!"
I have recently bought this game at its new price. I played the demo and loved it, so I knew what I was gettint into. The full game is even better. I have yet to play all the game has to offer, but its just BRILLIANT.
There are so many different forces and tons of action constantly hitting you, without the feeling that the game is out of your control. I cant wait to try out the multiplayer after I've gone through the 3 campaigns and tryed the 3 races out. FeedbackIf you think we've made a mistake or omitted details, please send us your feedback. |
