Fantastic game awesome graphics, PC version is the best version.Great online co-op .the mouse control is amazing played it on ps3 and Xbox 360 and they nothing comparing to PC version. best buy and go for it without any doubt .
Horror games always interest me, they are the most exciting genre to play.
though I always get freaked out.
RE5 luckily, isnt that scary. phew… I played this on ps3 a long time ago and
liked it alot, so I thought I give the PC version a go.
Those that dislike the non-moving shooting, should realize the enemies dont all
atk you at once anyway. so there is plenty of time. And we all should be happy
that the control on keyboard is so much easier than controller.
apart from the control, there isn't really anything else bad about this game, there are still parts that are freaky. And many parts that kickass. I guess because its two characters, which makes the game less scary.
Excellent game, looks fantastic on the PC especially in Direct X 10 mode. Stayed up all night playing this game in co-op mode with a buddy!
Mouse and Keyboard plays great which I was worried about because RE4 was so badly ported it was unplayable in my opinion unless you had a game pad. Anyway to sum up RE5 is a brilliant game, get it!
One of the best games to come to the PC to date. Amazing story, gameplay, graphics and all around experience. Must have for all fans of the series and in general 3rd person shooters. Five stars!!
Really good game, plenty of re-play value, and more zombie killing weapons than you can shake a stick at.
Being a big fan of the horror genre and puzzle solve games, this game was a disapointment and has gone several leagues away from what the origional made it such a success. From a series that has given us some great games this one has fallen short on the basics. The story may be fresh with new types of zombies but the game is a bore and the control are so terrible that I was suprised they probably got the same movements team from Alone in the Dark. Firstly, the over the shoulder works well in Dead Space, not here. Secondly if I am slicling at a zombie only three feet away I expect to hit him. Thirdly the game is designed for the my god, turn the lights of let me crank the soround sound and scare the bejesus out of me. I got more scared from Wolfenstein 3D than any of the standard jump out and walk the guided path this game had to offer. The area of this game I did like was the new take on zombies, the coop mode even though your AI buddy is an idiot and there were no tactical instructions you could give to her. If you played Res Evil 1 + 2 you wont be happy with this. Try Dead Space as it may give you more goosebumbs than Res Evil 5.
Being an passionate pc gamer , I resigned to the conclusion that this was going to be a horrible port , and why couldn't the developers think about a simultaneous release for both platforms. From my experience anyway , that console games ported to the pc seem more of an after thought with short sighted money making ideas in mind , and really have no concept on what makes a sucessful pc game!!!!!
But Im pleased to announce this game , looks very sweet , especially running
on dx 10 . The rundown shanty towns and water effects are just beautiful , and
at times I stop and admire the surrroundings. Even with the settings on low and
running dx9 ,this games will still look stunning.
I am halfway though it and enjoying every minute , zombies bring it on.
You have a partner this time , she is beautiful and kicks arse ( what more could
a man want )
You have some very well produced cut scenes , battle afew bosses , hords of
zombies and a very dark story about mutant genes that make people want to eat
you : )
Its an R18 for a reason , but its not a horror romp either. Apart from your drop
dead beautiful assistant , no one wants you alive , so just shoot everything
that moves. That comes in all shapes and sizes , to dogs , flying creatures ,
chainsaw welding bosses to motorbike riding zombies , intent on throwing a chain
around your ankle and dragging you behind their bikes !!!!! The reviews have
been very good , and I can see why.
The only downside , I found the controls abit awkward and the pistol sounds
like you just snapped a twig!!!!!
But have now got used to how the game plays , and the other weapon sounds are
pretty cool and pack a decent punch to.
Zombie killing nevers get old , and until L4D2 arrives , this will suit me.
