After a week or so with this mouse I've grown accustomed to the excessive DPI rating and toned it down to 3 settings, 1800, 3200 and 4000.
First Impression: It looks great, buttons are positioned well and the slider makes thumb buttons easy to place for a better feel. Also very smooth to move around.
This is however a very basic mouse design, standard left/right mouse clicks, a middle button that has no sideways clicks. 2× thumb buttons and 2× DPI setting buttons. There's enough here to make good use of and you can add macro's in for added functionality. You can't however add much functionality to the DPI buttons, they push it up or down and that's really about all they're good for. I would've preferred that the custom software allowed for custom buttons instead of preset functions via a dropdown menu which limit which buttons can actually be set to use the macros.
All in all it's got good functionality and feels nice to use, but the software limits button usage on a mouse that already has fewer buttons than most gaming grade mice.
