The scale of this game is amazing! If you have a pretty grunty PC with lots
of memory and a good graphics card it's a brilliant game. It takes aaaaaaaages
to conquer the work so don't expect to clock this game in a hurry. The detail on
individual units is superb for the number that are in the game. It's not just
about the battles either, if your into more of an economy/spy/diplomacy base
strategy game this will be right up your alley.
I have had it for quite a while now and still have a lot of game time left with
this title.
You can adjust number of units in battle, detail and a number of other things which make the game experience really amazing provided you have the hardware.
Great game.
Total war has long been the best experience in both real time and strategy
gaming.
Since Rome Total War I have been enthralled with this series.
Medieval Total war introduces a staggering campaign of immense possibilities
with so many different Units and strategic as well as tactical choices.
The game looks brilliant even for its age, with a DX10 card and a reasonable
processor, it barely stresses your system except during massive army
encounters.
The only bad point about this game is eventually you learn that the AI can be a
little retarded in places, not really taking advantage of some blunders you
make. Saying that however they can surprise you and shock you with their
ruthless nature.
I would highly suggest patching this game upon purchase, it makes a lot of bugs disappear.
I would suggest this game to anyone with an interest in history and a passion for both real time and turn based gaming. Its the perfect game to learn strategies and keep your mind going when you stop playing!
