5 stars "Looks great on the box"

I have been asked to write a review but I haven't played the game yet.
My computer is a bit old and way below the min specs for this game so I wont get to play it till I upgrade.
I bought it because of the price, which was about $18, which I figured was never going to be cheaper even in a Thats Hot box set so I bought it. Loved the movies so I expect to enjoy this too.

4 stars "Who ya gonna call? Great game great price"

I thought I was going to get a rejig of an old game but this is not the case. Great graphics and soundtrack and the gameplay is easy to get to grips with. Loads of fun

3 stars "More for fans of the films"

It's basically like a 3rd person shooter, but you have to trap some ghosts rather than simply shooting them. ‘Wrangling’ the ghosts can become very difficult, especially when you have 3 other team mates wrangling the same one. Your team mates aren't especially effective and on some levels you spend more time reviving them than trapping ghosts.

Cons: Writing is not as funny as I expected
Controls are very annoying – shooting the ghosts is easy, but trapping them is almost impossible

Pros: Graphics and sounds are good. Facial expressions match the actors well
Story is quite well written
Some genuine scares

Overall this is an ok 10 hour game, but more for fans of the movies.

4 stars "Fun and Addictive"

This game is meant to be the third “movie” in the franchise and is a very good sequel. It feels very much like the original movie and when does blasting ghost with ur proton pack ever get old? The gameplay is fun and addictive, there's a whole bunch of stuff to destroy and some really cool ghosts to scan.
Unfortunately the story lets it down because it wasn't very engaging and the romance was forced.
Still a very fun and addictive game.
8.6/10

4 stars "Fantastic game for the price!!!"

If your a fan then get it. If your not a fan then its just another 3rd person shooter that reminds us off the great movies of the 80s.

5 stars "Nuetron Sparking Plasma Blasting Fun!"

Story: Set after the original Movies, you play the role of a new recruit helping the ghostbusters to save the world from chaos.

Graphics: Astounding. The main graphical point is the pack on your back. The pack works like a hud with health and weapon heating details. Each bend, lump and corner is precisely modeled – a good thing, considering the amount you look at it!
The weapons throw very pretty light combinations across the sky – Don't cross the streams!

Sound: Really Good. The original actors return to do the voice acting for the game, filling their roles from long ago perfectly.

Gameply: Some enemies can be blasted away but others require you to capture them. You can scan enemies to get details, such as weaknesses.
Some physics based problem solving provides respite from the hordes of ghosts, but not for long. The game was a little short for my liking, only taking a total of about 6 hours for the campaign on easy.

Overall: A refreshing reminder of a traditional movie in third person beauty to fill a boring Sunday afternoon.
