8.13% of people buy Deus Ex Complete (Deus Ex + Deus Ex Invisible War) and Thief Collection (Dark Project, Metal Age and Deadly Shadows) ~ PC Games.
Deus Ex Complete sees both games in the ground-breaking collection - Deus Ex and Deus Ex Invisible War - brought together. Experience two of the greatest games ever in one stunning package.
Deus Ex
The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly - killing thousands; drugs, disease and pollution kill even more. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider. Worst of all, an ages old, conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control. No one believes they exist. No one but you.
In this thrilling roleplaying adventure, you play the part of a powerful, nano-technologically augmented anti-terrorist agent. It's up to you to stop the conspirators from achieving their goals.
Deus Ex Invisible War
Approximately 20 years after the events depicted in Deus Ex, the world is only beginning to recover from a catastrophic worldwide depression brought on by technology run amok and a secret conspiratorial war.
The winner-take-all geopolitics of mid-21st century Earth have given way to a struggle over more basic concerns: food, water, reestablishing civil law and cleaning up biological and nano-tech fallout. In this chaotic recovery, several religious and political factions see an opportunity to re-shape a worldwide government to their agendas, understanding that the right moves now could determine the shape of human society for decades - even centuries - to come.
Amidst the debris, the player Alex D. emerges in search the identities of true players behind the power struggles and the source of his own mysterious origins. In a techno-nightmare of the fragile revival or ultimate decimation of human civilization, take part in a dark dramatic struggle to raise the world from it's own ashes.
"A great experience that?s a blast from the past and a taster for things to come… Great mix of role playing and combat" (Total PC Gaming 8/10)
"At its best, Deus Ex Invisible War takes you closer to the idea of pure, unrestrained player expression than anything else. Most games state ?This is what you must do.? Invisible War asks ?What do you want to do?'" ? PC Gamer, Game of the Month
Deus Ex is quite simply the greatest RPG ever created. It offered multiple paths to accomplish the same objectives, whether you preferred stealth based gameplay to all out firefights. The upgrade system involved letting you choose the direction your character would develop into, and rewarded exploration. The story was gripping, and I spent many hours trying to complete every single objective and explore every map to the fullest extent. Multiple endings existed, depending on which of the factions you decided to follow.
Invisible War is a sequel, set sometime after, and with a new playable character and biomods. While it never reached the same heights as the original, it was still an excellent game in its own right.
If you enjoy RPGs, then you should own these two games
These games are incredibly well made, despite having many approaches to each level / situation the designers did not fail to properly develop each route for the player. Truly deserving of PCPP magazines “Favourite Game Of All Time” award.
Dues Ex (the original) is quiet possibly one of the best games of all time. Not just a basic straight forward FPS, this game can be quite complicated at points unlike most FPS these days that are just point and shoot. Might not be everyone's style of game, but if you have been playing computer games for over a decade and can handle the older graphics this game is a MUST try! The second game in the series is average but I considered it just a bonus as I mainly bought this pack for the Classic game. Invisible War feels like it is just a newer version of the old game style, however characters and plot does not feel as good.
Though the graphics on these games are now very dated, the game play is excellent, I have enjoyed my trip down memory lane playing these again.
These are great with a unique gameplay where you can do prety much anything
you want.
The only downside is that the first one dosn't have good graphics but as it is a
reasonably old game it is to be expected.
The both of them are rated realy highly but they never had massive
followings.
