I must say this game is better than C&C 4
I played lots of C&C4 and this game is way better
The graphics are almost as good as C&C4
The acting is much better and this game is more true to the Tiberium gameplay
The strategy formula is much more fun and engaging and you can have a much
bigger army to control
The 3 races are much more diverse and unique
This game is awesome and will give you hours of fun
9.5/10
As a fan of the RTS genre, C and C has been a long time favourite of mine.
From the cheesy cut scenes to the out of this world voice acting. This time
they've really hit the spot with Tiberium wars.
When I played through the campaign I found the GDI to be overpowering and
generally the units were more expensive. Even low level units such as the grunt
were more powerful than equivalent units in NOD. However with the NOD I got the
impression I was always on the run, like a cornered rabbit (with fangs) and had
to resort to hit and run tactics.
Mega units in each faction are really fun too, with the juggernaut and mammoth tank of the GDI, the Avatar of the NOD and the carriers of the Scrin.
The Good:
The bad:
What a wicked game, the storyline is awesome, the graphics rule and the game is true to the C&C series. Haven't played C&C4 yet but it sounds like the series should have ended here…
As a big command and conquer fan, i have found this game is the best RTS ive
ever played. There are many tactics each team holds, its just if you can figure
them out or not.
The game is hours of fun and its great to play online or even over lan
AT first I was worried about what EA would do but not anymore!! This game is awesome!! The graphics are really good if you have a decent PC and the gameplay is great. Ok so the videos arent that great and there is some annoying acting… But the online multiplayer is so good it doesnt matter!! A must have for any C&C or RTS fan. Buy Kane's Wrath too!!
I have been playing the Demo for a while now, an without getting into to much detail the thing I really like about the game is that like the ones before, it has still managed to keep its ‘fun’ factor. I find some other strategy games way to serious and boring while with C&C I actually enjoy playing as it tends to not take itself to seriously.
The awesome story lines are back as well as the quircky videos, the demo does not allow you to play nod, so all I can say is that the GDI units are really cool and apparently they have retained the infantry sound clips from the older c&c games.
Very cool game
Even though this is no longer a new game it has aged well. The graphics and
game play is a continuation of the excellent platfom we have seen in the past
with C & C games.
I would recommend this game to any enthusiast of the strategy genre.
I am looking forward to the next installment of the C & C games
from EA
I've played quite a few RTS games, and this has to be the best.
First, the graphics are incredible. I play the PC version on a mac laptop, because the mac version wasn't out when I got it. So, I have to turn the settings to about medium. Yet it still looks fantasic.
Second, the story modes are great. The story itself is great, and the fact that you can play as all three allows you to see the different point of view for the same mission, which is very exciting. The only bad thing is the Scrin campaign, which is impossibly difficult.
Finally, the Skirmishes have so many combinations, that it truly promises hours, and hours of entertainment. You can set the AI to play in 5 different styles. Also, the AI in this game doesn't give up. You can finish off their main, and secondary base, but they'll almost always send a MCV to scuttle away and hide somewhere on the map.
I've not tried online with this game, but LAN with this game is so much fun.
As far as I seen at Command @ Conquer 3 tiberium wars
website , the game is looking great!
I have always been a big fan of strategy games.
you start your base by building factories , deploying troops and tanks etc.
wage war on NOD or GDI …
