Description
March, 2047. A massive nuclear fireball explodes high in the night sky, marking the dramatic beginning to the Third Tiberium War and long-awaited return of the most groundbreaking Real-time Strategy franchise (RTS) of all time.
In 2047, Tiberium has blanketed the Earth, which is now divided into zones based on the level of Tiberium infestation. Pristine Blue Zones represent 20% of the planet's surface and are the last refuge of the civilized world. Partially habitable Yellow Zones make up 50% of the planet's surface; most of the world's population lives in these war-torn and ecologically ravaged areas. The remaining 30% of the planet is uninhabitable, a Tiberium wasteland swept by violent Ion Storms. Red Zones are like the surface of an Alien planet. The infamous Kane has returned to lead the Brotherhood of Nod in a massive global assault on the Global Defense Initiative and the few remaining Blue zones left on the planet. Only you can stop him. The fate of humanity - and the planet - is in your hands. Featuring state-of-the-art, next-generation graphics, an epic story with live action video sequences featuring top Hollywood actors, and the classic fast-paced C&C style of play, C&C 3 sets the standard for the single player RTS experience. When you decide to test your skills online, a suite of truly innovative features, such as the ability to transform online battles into a spectator sport, unfold. Welcome back, Commander. Features:

"Well balanced and varied gameplay between different factions"
As a fan of the RTS genre, C and C has been a long time favourite of mine. From the cheesy cut scenes to the out of this world voice acting. This time they've really hit the spot with Tiberium wars.
When I played through the campaign I found the GDI to be overpowering and generally the units were more expensive. Even low level units such as the grunt were more powerful than equivalent units in NOD. However with the NOD I got the impression I was always on the run, like a cornered rabbit (with fangs) and had to resort to hit and run tactics. Mega units in each faction are really fun too, with the juggernaut and mammoth tank of the GDI, the Avatar of the NOD and the carriers of the Scrin. The Good: - well balanced factions, each playing quite differently from each other. - beautiful presentation, both audio and visual - cool mega units (how cool is ripping parts off your own units to upgrade your avatar!) - The cheesy acting The bad: - Occasional random crashed out to desk top, but very occasional - The cheesy acting (if you don't care much for it that is)
"this game is fantastic"
As a big command and conquer fan, i have found this game is the best RTS ive ever played. There are many tactics each team holds, its just if you can figure them out or not.
The game is hours of fun and its great to play online or even over lan
"An Awesome Game"
AT first I was worried about what EA would do but not anymore!! This game is awesome!! The graphics are really good if you have a decent PC and the gameplay is great. Ok so the videos arent that great and there is some annoying acting... But the online multiplayer is so good it doesnt matter!! A must have for any C&C or RTS fan. Buy Kane's Wrath too!!
"Great Game"
I have been playing the Demo for a while now, an without getting into to much detail the thing I really like about the game is that like the ones before, it has still managed to keep its 'fun' factor. I find some other strategy games way to serious and boring while with C&C I actually enjoy playing as it tends to not take itself to seriously.
The awesome story lines are back as well as the quircky videos, the demo does not allow you to play nod, so all I can say is that the GDI units are really cool and apparently they have retained the infantry sound clips from the older c&c games. Very cool game FeedbackIf you think we've made a mistake or omitted details, please send us your feedback. |
