Description
CivCity: Rome, an innovative city builder inspired by the world of Sid Meier's Civilization, and created by a collaboration between Firefly Studios and Firaxis Games, invites players to shift focus from building a multi-city empire and zoom-in on the great cities of the Roman Empire, culminating in Rome itself! Through dozens of missions, each offering an array of interesting decisions, players will be charged with building, nurturing and managing one of these great cities as they endeavour to lead the Roman Empire from its humble beginnings to its mighty apogee. Features players have enjoyed in the Civilization series, like research, city happiness, production and culture, can now be managed actively in the wonderfully immersive world of CivCity: Rome.

"Lackluster Graphics"
Civ City rome was an interesting game at first however the controls and the building aspects leave a lot to be desired, it does not also help that the graphics and graphical interface is boring, the game can go from easy to hard in a few levels but no matter which path you choose there is only 9 missions each for a total of 18 available missions, quite a short game.

"Wheres the action?"
I love Rome. Its a great atmostphere, rich economy and powerful military. But where is the military in this game?
There NEEDS to be a game set in Rome where the player can truly take control of the military and economy side of things. Not a half military fighting back riotting rebels and the occasional wave of barbarians. I think I'll have to settle with the Total War series for the time being. Medieval 2 rocks!! PC PowerPlay have also got a good demo of it November 133 Issue. FeedbackIf you think we've made a mistake or omitted details, please send us your feedback. |
