It certainly has surpassed the previous AOE, and still remains one of my favorite games today, with the many different game types like regicide and death match as well as the epic campaigns like my favorite the campaign of Frederick Barbarossa of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as others like Joan of Ark, and the Mongols, and more.

Age of Empires 2 is great. There is alot of things to do, ranging from campaign to custom scenario's. It is a great game expecially at this price and it is quite hard to fing age of empires 2 anywhere. I think this game is a must have if you like medievil games.
