Probably the best 3PS I've played next to Freedom Fighters. The gameplay's just addictive fun and works really well. Good score, excellent voice acting. Good variety of weapons to suit your playstyle, and you will will feel like a god and saviour of the world at the end.

I'm a little surprised it didn't review better… It suffers from some minor technical glitches and a few instability problems, but the frequent check point system means that's just not really an issue. This is on my “must play” list, and I'm thirsting for the next two in the trilogy.

For $30, you'd be a monkey to not buy this. If you want a cinematic storyline with solid third person shooter gameplay, then get this now. You won't be dissapointed.

This was re-released recently on Steam which is how I came to encounter it. It's a flawed jewel in many ways but still a helluva good time – third person shooter fun with lots of weapons and psychic powers to wreak havoc with. Great story, good voice acting, great looking graphics (not that you'd know it from the screenshots posted here :-] ) but perhaps a little short (it's meant to be the 1st in a trilogy, but like the other reviewer said – its hype and the fact that it was badly buggy on release ended up sabotaging its sales, so it's uncertain if the other installments will be made)… not short like HL2: Episode 1 or anything, but if I'd paid full price I'd be miffed. But I didn't, and neither will you. It's fun, get it if you like fun at a bargain price! :)

Many people have been and will be disillusioned with this game.Its a bit like the Edsel when it came out much hype and fanfair before its entry disappointment on arrival . there was nothing wrong with the edsel it just wasnt what people expected. majesco have made the same mistake here . much talk at e3 revolutionize the way shooters are made, way of the future, like being in a movie.well i am afraid it is none of those at all.gamespot didnt rate it highly . gamespy talks of bargain basement bins.Well its better then that.People who are hardcore shooter fans will not like it.But if you want a lighthearted third person shooter.Good graphics,andnot a bad story line, good voice acting, and outstanding music, along with quite a bit of fun its ok. A1 is ok they try to outflank you. the game plays like the old third person shooters did . Fun is key.Its sad the hype before hand has worked against the game . like the poor old edsel nothing wrong with it people just expected more. Me I like the game as shooting mindless fun.I most likely would have liked the edsel.
