"Fantastic"
Remember Wii Sports. It had Baseball. It was fun but it was a little hard to hit the ball. Well now you can get the bigs, you may be asking is it worth a purchase…the answer is a resounding YES!
This game has great graphics and the gameplay is easy once you figure out the different pitches etc. Batting is done by holding the wiimote and aiming with the nunchuck and then swinging the wiimote. Sounds diffucult? It isnt. Hold the nunchuck at arms length and you will have no problems with it. Holding A increases your hitting power as well.
Fielding is a hit or miss concept though. Too often the players will jump and dive when you havent really moved the nunchuck. However to make your player sprint all you need to do is make a running motion with the nunchuck and wiimote and then throwing to bases is simple. Its the d pad on the wiimote.
Pitching is alot of fun though. Aim with the nunchuck stick and then then hold the wiimote overhead whilst holding A to power up and then release A on the downward throw.
You can also accumulate points by stealing bases, getting three strikes and running to first base which when your meter is full can be used to unleash a monster hit or pitch. Awesome. Fireworks explode when you hit it at glass or buildings : )
This is the best sports game on the wii at the moment in my opinion, dont be fooled by EA's offerings, 2K knows how to make a great sports game.

Great game that you can get lost in for ages, it's a lot of fun. Great bargain too.

Takes a bit of getting used to but it is a great game

This is a must at only $5.00 for any baseball/softball fans. Adults can get tricky with their pitches but the kids can throw and hit just as easily. Great fun for all.

Children really had fun once they began to get the timing right. A great leveler as adults had ‘issues’ too.
