Description

Rayman Raving Rabbids Trilogy Party Collection includes:
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
  • Raving Rabbids TV Party
Those rascally Rabbids are never going away. Having tortured Rayman over several games on the Wii, they've collected all their outings onto one tidy package.

The earliest game on the disc, Rayman Raving Rabbids, set the tone for the Rabbids games that followed on the Wii. In it, you play as Rayman, captured by the Rabbids and forced to endure trial after trial. Sounds like a problem for Rayman, but it means plenty of fun for you! The trials (read: mini-games) include an on-rails first-person shooter using toilet plungers and a race in which you ride a warthog, using a fly swatter as a riding crop!

Then there's Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. It's not a solitary pleasure. This is not to say you can't play the game alone, there's a significant single player element to the game called 'Trip Mode' - with some barking mad storyline based around the rabbids being in training to invade planet Earth or somesuch madcap scheme.

It's kind of like playing WarioWare Smooth Moves or Wii Sports Tennis on your own, which are perfectly pleasant and acceptable ways to pass the time - as long as the neighbours don't catch you through the back window.

So, the focus here is heavily on multiplayer fun. A large portion of that helping of fun comes from laughing at the faces and actions of your competitors as they contort themselves around the Wii Remote and Nunchuck in order to make the rabbids perform some genuinely hilarious on-screen tasks in one of the sixty mini-games on offer. Players will perform various crazy actions with the Wii control system as they do battle in games such as 'Beer', 'Rodeo', 'Baseball' and 'Burger'.

In Raving Rabbids TV Party, Rayman has a whole new problem on his hands - the little blighters have taken over the telly.! You know that can only be bad news for Britain's favourite pastime. If you like your time in front of the box to be a little more energetic than your average couch potato, however, that's good news for you.

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party offers up some 65 unique minigames to play, based around the Rabbids having taken over a full week's worth of programming. If you reckon you've heard all that before and you're looking for something a bit different from Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, however, look no further! The latest instalment in the series features support for the Balance Board, with around 30% of the minigames on offer making use of it.

Take, for example, the Wildebeest Xtreme skiing game. You know how the Wii's meant to get kids off their behinds for games- Not with this. For Wildebeest Xtreme skiing players plonk their plush posteriors on the balance board and steer a Wildebeest-riding Rabbid down a snowy slope. Genius!

1 stars "Kids may like it"

My kids have trouble with this. Due to having to use the nun chuck for certain parts it isn't that easy.
Thye have played it twice and now it's stored in the cupboard

4 stars "Funny, quick games and entertaining."

The kids love this one – they think it's hilarious. There are very clear on-screen instructions on what you need to do before you play each game. New outfits and new areas of play are the rewards, which come about regularly. On the whole a great time.

5 stars "The kids really love it ... Haven't managed to get my turn yet!"

The kids loved Raving Rabbids … So much so that the adults still haven't been allowed to have a turn yet! The multiplayer options are good … All in all a great buy!

5 stars "Great game for the kids!"

Great fun to watch the kids playing the games, whether it be shooting plungers at the rabbids, or dressing them up to score points.

Heaps of different games with different playing styles to keep everyone entertained and amused. Some of the games are wacky, but all are fun!

4 stars "Raving ..."

Well to be honest it is a present so have no idea if my niece will like it. But she is 11 years old and a raving rabbits party collection just has to hit the spot right!!!! Seriously considering opening and having a go before i sent it off to her … unfortunately i ran out of time so will have to accept i will only get to play it when i visit … considering seeing them more often :)
