Description

LEGO Batman: The Videogame is the latest game from the award-winning team behind the LEGO Star Wars series of games. With trademark LEGO fun and charm, the game takes you into the world of the ultimate crime-fighting hero.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin, as well as bonus hero Nightwing to fight Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Bane, Clayface, Poison Ivy and many more. The criminals have broken out of Arkham Asylum and are set to wreak havoc on the city.

Players will also be able to explore their wicked side and fight their way through the game as the villains, experiencing the game from a completely different point of view with all-new criminal objectives. With a collection of high-tech suits, gadgets and cutting-edge vehicles on hand, players will be able to step into the unique LEGO Batman universe to bring super villains to justice - or, as the villains, to run amok in Gotham City!

Features:
  • Fight for justice as Batman and Robin or create chaos as The Joker, Catwoman and other villains, as you save or destroy Gotham City.
  • Rocket through sewers and bound across rooftops as you take the fight to the criminals across classic locations in Gotham City.
  • Fight on land, sea and in the air using a number of powerful Batman, Robin and villain-controlled vehicles, including the rocket-powered Batmobile, sleek Batboat and stealthy Batwing.
  • Enhance the abilities of the Dynamic Duo by unlocking Batman’s Demolition, Sonic and Glide suits and Robin’s Gravity, Magnetic and Dive suits to help fight Gotham’s villains.
  • Enjoy numerous game modes and levels:
  • Play through the game in Story Mode from both the hero and villain sides.
  • Replay any level in Freeplay Mode with any characters you’ve unlocked. Access previously hidden areas to find additional rewards and bonus content.
  • Collect LEGO studs and special LEGO bricks throughout the game to unlock tons of extra content including special power-ups and bonus levels.
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame features top voice over talent, including Tom Kenny, with hilarious results.
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame also features Danny Elfman’s iconic The Batman (1989) musical score.

"brilliant"
great game , i bought this to complete the trilogy, but since playing i would have to say this is the best of the three and will give me lots of fun , controls are similar to the others however instead of changing characters you get different suits to change into. I would recommend this to all lego fans

"Excellent game for the younger ones."
Bought this game for my 7 year old son and my 11 year old girl. Both of them have been enjoying it. Still haven't finished the story mode so it has kept them well entertained. It is especially good because my son is not the best game player, but he can still manage to finish the story. I am not sure if you are a gamer if this would suit you, but on a winter's day my kids have been loving it.

"Kids just love it!!"
My boys (and all their friends) love this game, and even though they've now unlocked most of the levels, they are still having fun playing it over. Great that it's a two player game, too.

"Fun for all ages"
This game is great fun I played it with my 9 year old Nephew (I'm much much older!) and he knew what he was doing and I didn't really know or care, but we had heaps of laughes as he dragged, and made my figure follow him around with my help. It was so funny and we had a great time. It was good practice for me to learn the Wii controls and my nephew had no problems doing the actions and find his way around all the levels. Pow, Biff, Bam just like the old Batman we used to watch on TV!
Great fun.

"Surprisingly fun!"
When I got Lego Batman, it was on a complete whim. I wasn't actually expecting to enjoy the game; I thought I'd play it for a couple days and then return it. Wasn't the case.

I've never played it single-player, I play it with one of my friends and it's incredibly fun. I really enjoy that Batman and Robin have different costumes that have different uses; that way I'm not just doing everything and my friend is just a helper.

And I really, really enjoyed that if I punched it, it could break. I destroyed anything and everything I possibly could on the level. I punched trees, cylinder blocks.. and if I couldn't break it by punching I definitely tried to blow it up! Very fun.

The game was also a lot harder than I thought it would be. The puzzles are actually very difficult; me and my friend often find ourselves stuck and scratching our head. Or punching everything hoping we'll find something lol

I'd definitely recommend playing this game.. even if it's just to rent it out for a week.
