4 stars "Wii remote swing fun"

This game is different from other Final Fantasy games, but don't let that put you off.

This is a very fun game with heaps of mini games scattered through it like chocobo racing and even gardening and fishing.

You play as Layle a Crystal Bearer and you can use your powers to lift objects and enemies and to get to out of reach places.

The only thing wrong with this game is it's a bit short, I clocked it in 20 hours.

If you have a Wii and enjoy swinging your remote around this is the game for you.

3 stars "Not really final fantasy"

Its a fun game using the wii remote to grab and throw enemies, but it gets very tiring after a while. Overall it was an alright game but not what I expected from a final fantasy

4 stars "This is a unique FF game."

I love RPG games and this one happened to be my very first Final Fantasy game to play. It is a little difficult to get used to the controls, but once you do it is like riding a bike. Players play as the Crystal Bearer and point the Wii-mote at the screen to do damage with the powers of the crystal. You do battle in this fashion as well. I haven't made it that far in the game, but it is enjoyable. The graphics are good, and the storyline isn't bad either. In certain parts, the game seems overly easy, such as when you fall off rocks. It catches you and pulls you back up. This helped me when I made a misstep, but it seems very unlikely that I would die at any point during the game. The first boss battle I did, was very difficult, and it may have been due to the size of my television. Or possibly the ability for the Wii-mote to be read. I am having fun playing the game, but it isn't one of those that I can play for hours at a time. I usually get to a good spot and save it because I am done playing for the day. Since this was my first FF game, I do not know how it compares to any of the others. It seems to be quite different than what they are usually like.

4 stars "Not Final Fantasy, but still pretty awesome"

The only feature resembling a FF game in this is the characters, and the recurring crystal themes.
That said, its still an incredibly fun game. With the main heroes powers you can pretty much interact with any person or object in the game, so there is so many things to explore and do.
The game progresses with a lot of platforming type levels which are broken with minigames involving creative uses of your crystal bearing powers, so the game is always interesting and different.
