Description
Utilizing the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine, Call of Duty: World at War throws out the rulebook of war to transform WWII combat through a new enemy, new tactics and an uncensored experience of the climatic battles that gripped a generation. As U.S. Marines and Russian soldiers, players will employ new features like cooperative gameplay, and weapons such as the flamethrower in the most chaotic and cinematically intense experience to date.
Call of Duty: World at War introduces co-operative play, bringing fresh meaning to the “No One Fights Alone” mantra with up to four-players online for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, or two-player local split-screen on consoles. Nintendo Wii will also support a unique co-op mode for two players. For the first time ever players will experience harrowing single-player missions together for greater camaraderie and tactical execution. The co-op campaign allows players to rank up and unlock perks in competitive multiplayer by completing challenges and earning experience points, adding continuous re-playability and team-based gameplay. Whether playing competitively or cooperatively – if players are online with Call of Duty: World at War – they will always gain experience points. Based on a player’s experience rank and rank of the player’s friends, Call of Duty: World at War will scale dynamically to provide a deeper level of challenge. Building on the Call of Duty 4 engine, Call of Duty: World at War thrusts players into the ruthless and gritty chaos of WWII combat like never been before, and challenges them to band together to survive the most harrowing and climactic battles of WWII that led to the demise of the Axis powers on the European and South Pacific fronts. The title re-defines WWII games by offering an uncensored experience with unique enemies and combat variety, including Kamikaze fighters, ambush attacks, Banzai charges and cunning cover tactics, as well as explosive on-screen action through all new cooperative gameplay. "Best FPS on Wii"
Call of Duty: World at War for Wii is a fantastic First Person Shooter. Set in WWII, players will rein act multiple battles ranging from Berlin to the Pacific. The controls are great (far better than its 360 and PS3 counterparts), the graphics are commendable for Wii, and, probably the best aspect of the game, it includes an unbelievably competent online mode, which instantly quadruples it's value. For fans of the genre, this is a must buy.

"Great, graphics are good a must buy for the wii. "
Who doesn't like war games?? Call of Duty world at war would have to the best fps on the Wii at this point of time I have played Call of duty 3 and red steel and they just don't compare to this game. The graphics look amazing and they really help bring out the war like scene. So if you own a Wii and don't own this game your missing out on something great!!!

"Steep learning curve with a great payoff."
World at War is a great first person shooter for the Wii. While the graphics are not as crisp as the PC, Xbox360 or PS3 versions the gameplay is still as frantic and intense. There is quite a big learning curve at the start of the game as there is no tutorial, which can make it rather difficult for newcomers to the Wiimote style of movement and aiming, but once you have repeated the first few areas of level 1 a couple of times (die die and try again) you will find yourself being killed less and polishing of the enemies quiet nicely. I recommend this game for anyone looking for a first person shoot as it is without a doubt the best one on the Wii to date.

"Non stop action"
i found this game very exciting to play because of the non stop action available!! the levels are good to play and enough of them making it a good length game!! i used the wii gun for it and found it quite hard at the begining to us it just because the trigger was at the other end and had to fiddle around but soon came used to it and enjoyed the action!!
