Boogie Superstar looks like its going to be fun; and admittedly the dancing part is – the singing however; not so much. Not only are the songs (a lot of Britney Spears and Rhianna) badly sung by random people (not the artists) the words aren't overly accurate either. If you've played singstar you'll be incredibly disapointed; but the dance-off option with friends is an excellent laugh.
This game is such a great party game – my friends and I spend hours and
hours playing and specific Boogie nights!
We tend to do more of the singing than dancing – just because the dancing
takes longer to learn if someone new is joining in.
The game adjusts your score according to your level which means its is fair if your a beginner/advanced player you can compete. Can't wait for a sequel as know all these songs off by heart!
This game is great at getting a party started…and going all night as I found out the first time I introduced it to my friends.
Mulitplayer mode is amazing, you can only have up to four players though so we played in teams a lot, would have been if could have had up to 8 participants.
Its a well thought through game, that is a lot of fun – and very addictive. I am still not bored of it and I have played it for three weeks non -stop. Unlocking songs and new outfits and moves are a great way to keep you motivated!
The songs are all good quality, however they are not sung by the orginal artists, however you hardly notice this especially if you set your settings to having the song lyrics to be only sung quietly in the background which means mainly the music and your voice only comes through.
This game is also good at getting you up and moving without realising it and having a lot of fun while doing it.
The game came with a mircophone, something I had not expected as was not listed anywhere! The microphone is great quality and has a very long extention cord – great for groups of people.
