"A very solid game, but so many missed opportunities"
Animal crossing: Let's go to the city is a good game that could have been great.
If you played any of the previous version of the game, you know what you're getting in to, and that's both the blessing & the problem. There is a huge amount of content, but very little of it is really new, and so many of the ideas in the game could have been pushed so much further, rather than simply sticking to what was there before. If you've never played an Animal crossing game before, you'll find this game full of things to do all year around. But if you're a veteran of the series you'll find little new to please the palate. New and old players alike will find many fun charming things in the game, but even those new to the series will probably quickly be saying "why couldn't they have added "X" in here?" or "couldn't this section have been more in depth" All in all, the game is good, it has everything that made the pervious versions good, but it just doesn't push any boundaries.
