4 stars "True 8th Gen Console"

Nintendo is truly pushing forward video game design. With the release of the Wii they really pushed the 7th generation video game boundaries by integrating motion sensor, for which Sony and Microsoft are only just catching up on. Now their next generation console takes the originality and user-friendliness of its predecessor and ups the game with a screen inside the controller and backwards compatibility with the Wii's games and peripherals. Not to mention the Wii will now have full and proper functionality with HDMI. The only disadvantages I believe people will find with this new generation console is Nintendo sticking with the inferior Flash memory over an internal hard drive and no compatibility with for GameCube or it's peripherals. A lot of Super Smash Bros. Brawl players may find that although they can finally play in HD, they won't get that true Brawl series feel without the familiarity of the GameCube controller. Otherwise it is a very initiative design from Nintendo and I can't wait to see what they have next.
