"Would be good to buy also would prefer for nintendo fans!"
5 stars"

The new Nintendo Dsi is probably the best portable console I've actually ever had. This would be great for Nintendo fans. It's awesome how Nintendo thought of adding to cameras at the top and inside it in the middle! Nintendo have changed some parts of it from the Nintendo Ds lite. The Power button is now inside on the side of it rather than flicking the little switch at the side, They have improved speakers and you can turn it up by pushing the buttons on the side.. Plus now you can put in a SD card to store music and photos onto the Dsi. Also you can go online and use up your points you get worth 1000 and buy mini games or something cool off there! I say the best thing about it is the music and the camera and how there are two lenses.

"Must have for all DS fans!"
5 stars"

The new DSi console is excellent, excellent being an understatement! It has two cameras which bring in great potential for future DSi games that put you inside your favourite game and the camera software lets you play around with your photos! (Put Mario's hat and nose your face!). It also has a calender to keep a record of when your photos were taken. It can also support AAC format music and alter them with various fun filters or change the speed and pitch for hilarious results. Same goes for voice recording you can make. The DSi has an SD card slot so you can send all your photos, music and recordings back and forth from the DSi to your computer… or anything that has an SD card slot. The DSi also is able to download games and application from the net using nintendo points with 1000 points costing around $20. The DSi truly has a lot of potential and an asset for any gamer, new, casual or hardcore.

"Excellant product (for my first Nintendo product)"
5 stars"

The new Nintendo DSi has a lot to offer such as two built in cameras (which have resonably good image quality) but not only does the DSi let you take photos and carry them with you it lets you edit them with awesomely fun tools like the distortion lense-you could even take a picture of your sibling and change it into an ugly monster.Along with letting you edit pictures the DSi also lets you listen and edit your music with even more fun tools. The speakers emmited great quality sound. The DSi is compatible with DS games but lets you download even more fun games from the new DSi store with such fun games like Pyoro and Paper plane-plus more and you can buy these games using “Nintendo Points”.Better placement of buttons was also a bonus along with the improved screens. The DSi is very well put together and I am very satisfied and will have much fun with it (This is my first Nintendo product and it has got me to thinking about the Nintendo Wii…) Thanks

Description

The Nintendo DSi is about 12% thinner (2.6 mm) than the Nintendo DS Lite. The new handheld has two VGA (0.3 megapixel) digital cameras; one on the internal hinge pointed towards the user and the second one in the outer shell.[ It also has larger screens (3.25 inches, instead of the previous 3 inches) and improved speakers. The power switch has been replaced with a power button, as the original DS had, now located next to the bottom left side of the touch screen. The DSi has five brightness settings compared to the DS Lite's four; however, battery life is reduced to 14 hours on the lowest brightness setting compared to the 19 hours of its predecessor. The internal rechargeable battery can still be replaced by the user at the end of its useful life of (typically) several hundred charge/discharge cycles.

Nintendo DSi has something for everyone, containing more functions to bring you more fun! Keep a photo diary via your Nintendo DSi Camera; store and play music with Nintendo DSi Sound; or why not browse the web on your Nintendo DSi via the Nintendo DSi Shop! New features include larger LCD screens, SD memory card slot, improved speakers and a slimmer unit.

Take photos with your Nintendo DSi Camera and manipulate and play with the images - real-time interactive imaging software makes the photo taking experience different from that offered by any other portable device. With 11 different types of lenses to choose from, edit, morph and distort your photos. You can even use the merge lens to blend two faces together! Watch slideshows of your photos, store your photos on your Nintendo DSi and exchange photos with other Nintendo DSi users.

Store and play music with Nintendo DSi Sound. You can also play with any music that you have on an SD memory card - make your favourite songs play faster! Learning a foreign language? Slow down the playback of someone speaking in that language so it’s easier for you to learn! You can also record sounds using the microphone, and edit them to create new sounds.

Nintendo DSiWare will not only be games you can download, but also practical applications. Nintendo will launch a variety of applications, giving you the option to download the applications that work for you. This will further personalise and enhance the functionality of your Nintendo DSi.

The new features also include the dual LCD screens being 17 per cent larger than those on the Nintendo DS and PictoChat is now available in colour as you can choose between a black or rainbow pen!

Nintendo DS software is compatible with Nintendo DSi, except for software that requires the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot, as this has been removed resulting in a slimmer Nintendo DSi.
