Description
The Harvest Goddess is observing you in your sleep, describing how lazy you've been and that your mother had entrusted her with turning you into someone who "would work with passion". However, just as the Harvest Goddess is about to give up, the Harvest King insults her by saying that she always gives up before trying and that she's old. So she insults him back by calling him " a big baldy". Getting really angry, the Harvest King turns the Harvest Goddess into stone. The Harvest Sprites stand up for her but all of them are teleported into another world! When you finally wake up, the Witch Princess is there and you have a letter from the Harvest King, "Hello, this is the Harvest King. The Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites were punished because you didn't work. They've been sent away to another world. If you work hard and achieve your goals, I will return the Harvest Sprites and the Harvest Goddess to this world. Sincerely, the Harvest King."

"Harvest Moon series is hit and miss."
However, I didn't expect this to be as much of a “miss” as it was. Harvest Moon DS Cute isn't what I expected. The game play is extremely confusing compared to it's predecessors.
For anyone who is used to playing Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town or HM: More Friends of Mineral Town I do not suggest this game is something worth buying.
It is still neat in its own way. But I found that instead of having your usual suspects hanging around in the town, there is a bunch of people with a few screws loose; A doctor with a robotic eye, old pyromaniac twins and a mad scientist. To name a few. I don't mind quirky characters but these are just a bit silly for Harvest Moon.
In saying that, it might not be my cup of tea but someone else might like it.
I'm just glad I bought it during a half price sale.
