5 stars "It's meeee Mario!"

There are 2 Mario games on the Nintendo 3DS: Mario Kart and the original Super Mario platformer. But this is one of the best games of all time. Mario jumping on piano keys-ooh mama! I think it deserves a reward!

This game is amazing, my personal favourite for 3ds. Worth every penny.

5 stars "3DS must have!"

I don't feel I need to say much about this game other than it is definitely my favorite Mario game I have ever played, it is just fantastic as other reviewers have stated. If you own a 3DS it is a must have for your collection.

5 stars "Well designed game"

This is a great, well designed game with a touch of silliness. It makes great use of the 3D technology and has great level design.

5 stars "Simply Brilliant"

Serving up bite sized chunks of flawless Mario gameplay, Super Mario 3D Land belongs in every 3DS owner's collection.
The graphic styling is very much Mario Galaxy like, but the levels themselves are shorter, quicker – perfect for a rush of Mario while you're on the bus or waiting for your fish and chips – and harken back more to the original Mario games complete with end of level flag pole.
The game seems easy at first, but don't be fooled – there is enough finger twitching challenge in the “Special Worlds” for any Mario aficionado to get to grips with.
Of course, this wouldn't be a 3DS game without the 3D which is used here to great effect. Not only are your jumps and bounces so much more precise, and avoiding Bowser's fireballs so much more effective, but the game uses the 3D effect to place puzzles and trickery to excellent effect.
This is, simply, brilliant Mario made perfectly portable.

5 stars "looks to be amazing"

when this game was revealed it showed signs of being a naglostic experiance reffering to super mario 3 for the nes and snes with the tankooi suit being evidence. but dont be fooled this is not an 3d remake this is an new game designed for the 3ds with game lead shigeru miamato hinting towards co-op multiplayer. (one person is mario the other luigi) and in the e3 demo there was an zelda themed stage this may not be in the full game
but this looks to be the nintendo game of the year
