I really love this mouse.
The ergonomics on it are amazing, it's the first mouse I've bought that feels like it fits my hand, almost perfectly. Construction is very solid, it's all plastic except for the outer ring of the mousewheel which is made of aluminium.
The tilt-wheel buttons are very easy to operate, and in addition you have the two very well place thumbswitch buttons. The mouse has two additional buttons, one let's you record macro's on-the-fly and the other launches Windows Vista's game manager.
The on-the-fly macro recording is pretty cool. You press the record button, then you press the switch on the mouse you want to assign the function to. After that you merely perform the action in game you wanted to replicate and then hit the record button a second time. The macro recorder will remember keystrokes and timings, but unfortunately not mouse movement (oh well).
The wireless sensor also houses the charging cable as well as some additional mouse “feet” if you need to change those (two sets included).
The charging cable is really nicely implemented through the use of a magnetic connector. You can literally pass the mouse over the connector and it will snap into place – very cool. The mouse will actually run without a battery if connected to the charging station as well.
One feature which is nice is you can switch between 3 DPS settings on the fly. Configurable from between 250–4000 for each preset.
Finally, this mouse will work on glossy surfaces(fantastic) and includes an on-off switch (at last).
