Amazing gameplay, story… Just amazing… But you should play the first Metal Gear Solid games before this, or the story will not make much sense.

MGS4 is a finely tuned game. I could not find any real legit faults in it and it succeeds in all categories of what makes a great game; Graphics, storytelling and gameplay.

The game is at it's best when it's furthering the story. The game's cinematics, voice-acting and narrative are all movie quality. However to properly understand the story and not get lost you must've some basic understanding of the events of previous games. Cutscenes are also quite lengthy and are on average about 13 minutes long. Expect a lot of them too. Though I wouldn't exactly call these negatives, they can deter people from the game.

Controlling Old Snake is pretty straight forward and I had no accidents through the game. The stealth system is easy to get your head around and if stealth isn't your thing, Snake is capable of going in gunz-blazing.

The experience last for round 30 hours, including cutscenes, but is the more enjoyable each time you replay it. The story becomes easier to understand and you are rewarded with a few goodies :)

The 25th Anniversary content is nice too and fans of the series will especially love it. Overall superb game, and in my opinion, one of the best of the PS3!

MGS4 is EPIC… Classic!
