"Good fun"
This card game is good fun. Only played a couple of games so far and I am eagerly awaiting the expansion cards that should be coming out soon. The mechanics works really well. Like all these sorts of games, you need to inject an ample amount of imagination to make it exciting, something I sometimes find hard to do.
The box for some reason is unreasonably big given that it only contains cards, tokens, and the manual. There is no board as is pictured above.

"Excellent Card Game LCG"
Wow, Lord of the Rings the Card Game really lives up to the hype. The artwork is beautiful and the gameplay is just as good. It plays great as a solo experience, but it is hugely tough to defeat. As a two player game it really shines. Have now played all the base game scenarios and the theme shines through so well. Will be looking out for the expansions.
"One of my favourite game purchases this year"
I have played both solo and 2 player and the game is well balanced for both. It takes about 30–60 mins but it feels like 5 it's so much fun. Easy to learn and I'm sure it won't disappoint any buyer.
"Good two player game"
This is a good two player game. Takes a little while to figure out how not to loose, and we are still cowering in fear of the hardest mission. Looking forward to getting some expansions.
