Before Elvis and Rock ‘N’ Roll invaded UK’s shores it was Lonnie Donegan and the Skiffle craze that first introduced a whole generation to American Blues, Country and Folk songs. Donegan's poppy songs and simplistic playing style provided the blueprint for many of the UK's greatest artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison and many other musical luminaries.
