Labor Day

Labor Day is a 2013 American drama film based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Joyce Maynard, directed by Jason Reitman, and packaged on DVD. Starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin.

Kate Winslet delivers an award worthy performance as a reclusive single mother, who, along with her teenage son, have their lives changed forever when they cross paths with an escaped convict (Josh Brolin), who takes the family hostage during Labor Day weekend. A beautiful, non-traditional love story.
