This is a perfect game…absolutely gorgeous illustrations, really really easy to learn but not so easy to win, and a truckload of fun whether you do the stomping or get stomped.
It has elements of Munchkin (through the way the cards work), the dice re-rolling options of yahtzee, and the concept of design of Godzilla stomping his way through a manga art gallery.
We love it.

I wasn't too sure about this at first, considering the price compared to the (lack of) components… but what you pay for here is a perfectly tuned, monster of a game. Yes, you roll a lot of dice – and yet it has strategy by the truck load that offsets that randomness. Rules are simple: Gain 20 victory points or destroy every other monster. While in Tokyo you get extra points, but you can't heal and are subject to attacks from every other monster… dare you stay another round as you watch your health drop- Add a pack of rule-breaking cards and this is one fun game. Nice art style too… oh and very playable after a few beverages.
