Description
The contemporary, clean design of this Joseph Joseph Orb porcelain pestle and mortar provides not one, but two receptacles for grinding herbs and spices. The main bowl is perfect for crushing and grinding larger quantities of ingredients, or even several at once. The lid, when inverted, provides a neat hand-held mortar – ideal for grinding smaller amounts of herbs and spices.
The large pestle is perfectly weighted and comfortable in the hand, even during prolonged use. Dishwasher safe.

It does what it is meant to do but in a more stylish way. I have been using mine for a while now and it is easy to lift. Many other styles were too heavy for me. Handy lid that can do a little job too.
