It has been a long time since I've heard an album that opens as well as this one. The first two tracks in particular are excellent, aggressive, and demand frequent repeating. The intensity of the album does tail off a bit quickly, but remains solid throughout.
Fans will be pleased to hear this album recreate a lot of the feel of older Prodigy albums, although it is unlikely to win any new converts.
Not only have The Prodigy given us some of the greatest hits of the rave era and beyond with “Firestarter”, “Breathe”, “Voodoo People”, “Everybody In the Place”, “Charly” and “Smack My Bitch Up”, but they they changed the musical landscape forever, tipping it on it's head by fusing dance music with elements of punk, rock and hip-hop - selling over 16 million albums in the process.
‘Invaders Must Die' is the 5th studio album from The Prodigy and for the first time since the release of 'Fat Of The Land' in 1997, founding members Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim have combined their talents and all feature on this blistering new album.
