"Amazing!"
These speakers are great! We use them in our classrooms on a daily basis and they don't only sound amazing, they look great too!
"Just Okay"
These speakers aren't anything amazing, the sound quality that the can produce is alright, the bass is okay but the size of them compared to the sound they output is a bit disproportionate.
They're are simply better sets out there for similar prices or pay a little bit more and get a dedicated sub woofer as well.

Description
SP-HF1800A is the new 3-way Hi-Fi wooden speaker system with 50 watts RMS audio output.
With this 3-way design, SP-HF1800A uses Hi-Fi crossover technology that makes each speaker unit respond to high, middle and low frequency respectively.
SP-HF1800A integrates all sound into the perfect enveloping effects around the listener with magnificent, balance, vivid, and richer quality. The middle driver uses the 4” close frame speaker unit to deliver more accurate sound performance for vocal and most instruments from 500Hz to 7,000 Hz frequency. The lower 4” woofer is for long and deep bass without distraction less than 500Hz frequency. For personal sound preference, just adjust the Bass and Treble controls.
There are two audio inputs with 2RCA and 3.5mm sockets, on the back for
connection to PC/TV/DVD player/Game consoles. It also has an extra line-in jack
on the front panel for connecting to an iPod, MP3 player, or CD player without
disconnecting the speakers from the PC. And, it has a headphone jack for private
listening.

The Good: Warm sound, no distortion at high levels
The Bad: Not very loud
"…These are most definitely not for those who have desktop space concerns,
although they're pretty serious-looking speakers for your average desk
jockey.
The tweeters and woofers are exposed, which is always kind of cool if you like
to watch them shake when you turn up the bass. The lack of a grille can also
prevent any sound interference, although you'll need to be extra careful since
there's no protection from debris and damage.
Performance
As we've said in the past, it's not just about how loud the speakers can
go – it's how they sound once you turn them up. An insanely loud system is
useless if it's filled with nothing but fuzz and distortion when you crank it
up. The SP-HF1800A knows its limitations. The speakers didn't really impress on
their volume capacity, but they did not distort at full capacity, and they
barely boomed when both bass and volume were at 100 percent.
The sound was warm and even for both music and movies. Highs were crisp, and
lows only became a bit muddy when the bass was at full capacity. Overall, this
doesn't seem to be a system that overreaches in its expectation, and as a result
you're getting a solidly satisfying system.
Bottom Line
The speakers would be powerful in a small office or bedroom for personal use,
but they wouldn't exactly knock your socks off if you're hosting screening party
