Having played the game a few times and getting the hang of the rules by the end of the second game, I can safely say this is a challenging co-op game that will have you trying your hardest to complete missions and keep your squad alive.
There are several different missions available and those missions can be setup in a lot of different ways. With the different kinds of enemies and objectives that go along with those missions, it does well to keep the game fresh and will keep you coming back. Add to that, the ability to play on your own for a real insane difficulty and you get a real gears of war experience.
The presentation of the game boards as well as the figures and cards make it a cool looking game, also worth the price.
If you are a fan of strategy board games and am looking for a great co-op game instead of going up against friends to break the monotony, this is the game for you.
Great for those new to Gears of War and fans alike.
