Final Fantasy XV reviews

This is the reason you should own a PS4! it is an amazing game that absolutely every gamer needs to own. It is a full-packed action title with an incredible world and a group of 4 awesome bros!

This game is beautiful and incredibly refined. Just the right amount of nostalgia for older fans while also being accessible to newcomers. The combat flows smoothly, the world is gorgeous, and the characters are charming. What more could you want-

[spoiler alert] finished it today, halfway thru the game the story changed in a drastic way and it wasn't even a final fantasy game anymore it felt very different. the last half simply felt – uncoordinated, unexplained properly, rushed, randomised sequences of events happening. if you are a hardcore FF fan and have played previous FF games such as X and VII, then [I feel] you will be VERY disappointed in this. if you are a first time FF player then [I feel] this would be suitable for you, but not worth the $100nzd pricetag for the amount of playtime u get from this. I'd suggest waiting for a sale or choosing another FF game. I waited for this game since I was 15 yrs old and I would be willing to wait another 10 yrs again if it meant tetsuya came back to finish it as it was shown in the original FFXIII versus version.

Amazing.. Can't fault much at all. Been a very long time since playing a final Fantasy game I loved and can say I love this!!

Great looking game. Fun gameplay. Strange Japanese story. For me it was a single play through game. Good, but wouldn't play it again any time soon.

If this game didn't have a triple-A budget and 10 years of development, I'd be a lot more forgiving. Alas…

Great Follow up to the Movie

This was the first time I’d ever played a final fantasy game. And now I want to preorder ff7. This game is amazing, the storyline is good, and an emotional roller coaster.

This game introduces so many new and engaging features while also keeping the core of Final Fantasy games the same. There's just SO much to do and I'm loving it.

Originally got this game for my brother but I've been playing it just as much as him! Great combat, great story, the characters are all so adorable, I recommend this game to people who like a good mix of gaming styles, a bit of combat, a bit of exploration, a good chunk of story telling etc.

I have been very pleased with this game so far, the characters are well done and I like their dialogue amongst each other. The battle system works well, and all interfaces are quite usable. The occasional tree can get in the way of the action, but I don't find that too much of a problem as the camera is fully rotatable. In terms of the story, so far so good, plenty of drama as I would expect from a FF title. For those new to the genre, this is a very good start.

Final fantasy XV is a great game with amazing story and characters and fun gameplay … However if you don't like games with an all male main cast then don't buy this game
