This game is one of the most enjoyable games I've played. This offer comes with all 5 DLCs, if you but it all separately you spend up to $150, so its a once in a life time offer, not to mention all the mods you can get for it online. Though, you have to update the game or some of the DLCs wont work, and since they all install at once off the second disk you'll miss out on, well pretty much the whole game, if you're like me and just want to get the main quest over and done with so you can mess arround all you like. The graphics are great, I like how it can be played as first person and still have a great storyline. The karma is really cool, you can hear on one of the radio channels, the host will say good or bad things about you depending on your karma, it brings the game to life. One of the most interesting things that I haven't seen in any other game is that when you hit enough damage on, say an enemy's arm, it'll become crippled and their accuracy will be greatly reduced, so if you can't hit them in the head, go for the arms, not to mention the killing shot can quite often remove the targeted limb, and the detail put into everything in there is just amazing, this is a once in a life time opportunity to really, without a doubt, have fun.

Awesome game, runs great on dual core and has exceptional graphics quality on my GeForce. The only problem i had with Fallout 3 was updating it… I had to download and install the new \‘Games For Windows Live\’ patch in order to run the updated version of Fallout 3.

The game leaves much of how it can be played up to the individual player. For example, if you favour FPS game-play type you could customize your character to suit that sort of fast-paced action where-by you will be running and gunning, instead of sneaking, setting traps or focusing on inventory management.

The experience and leveling system greatly increases character diversity and the addition of \“perks\” acquired at each level makes for really exciting reasons to actually progress to higher levels.

The addition of V.A.T.S makes for a cool element of gameplay and adds to the strategy required in some encounters. Perhaps a weird drawback i found was with a stealth/sniper type build there is quite a low chance to hit in V.A.T.S mode, regardless of any attributes, perks, weapons and apparel. Furthermore, in V.A.T.S mode it is annoying when your character stupidly shoots at cover instead of the target.

In summary, Fallout 3 is a game which is highly player centered- You build your character, you use your own play style, you choose how you deal with a situation- and this makes for tons of gameplay. It runs quickly and efficiently on PC\'s and has awesome high end graphics. It is an excellent blend of FPS and RPG and is echoic of Oblivion.

Highly recommended to those who like FPS and RPG hybrid games and also to those who enjoyed the Elder Scrolls or Fallout series.

The install was a little buggy and the code inside the case was not needed. Do not need to log onto Windows Live to work which is a good thing. Buy and mod the heck out of it hours of fun

This game will make you realize just how short a days length can seem. I have ongrossed myself this epic compilation of pure interactive-entertainment for well over 100 hours! At this current price, I would say if even for curiosity's sake, BUY IT. Any console runs it well but PC has all the mods and better graphics. The only reason i give it 4/5 is the complete lack of any kind of multi-player, however that doesnt mean i havent spent plenty of time talking about it with friends!

I know I know, every gives this game 5 stars… But I can only give 4.

This game is indeed awesome, and deserve the game of the year title, it allows 3rd party mods to add even more features to the already great game. With 5 DLC, what could possibly go wrong-

Well, first off, it loads slow, not in game, but when u insert the disc and wait for the launcher to appear.

Secondly, and most importantly, so many bugs, the game freezes randomly every 10–20 mins… If you read the net, it is a very common problem with many solutions whether they actually solve the problem I guess more tests are needed, I walked into a house during the game, and got a black screen, rendering me unable to do anything at all. And the mouse is gone, had to somehow task manager end the game many many times.

Another problem, it doesn't save near enough, after killing some enemies, you come across another huge group of them, you die, and guess what u are back to a very early autosave, however, you can manually save the game, so always save when you are in a safe area.

Well thats the problems so far. With only 1–2 hrs of play…

I was really excited to get this game, I loved Oblivion and this is pretty similar. It's great how you can choose your path, good or evil, brute force or slight of hand and the you can play it all day and there will still be so much for you to do. However the amount of crashes and screen freezes makes the good graphics and the potential for an awesome game irrelevant. Your getting into the game and it just freezes and you have to force the program to end and start again, only to start playing and it freezes again. So if you have the time to figure out how to get the game working by all means get it.

A really fun, exciting and most importantly of all, violent and brutal game! But it sure is fun!!

It is pretty much World of Warcraft meets Call of Duty, as you run around completing quests while shooting people! Fun? Most definitely!!

Price wise, it is value for money. With all extra expansions thrown in, and with all the sales Mighty Ape has been having lately, don't be surprised if you find it for $40.00!! And that is definitely worth it!!!

The PC version (which I recieved in the mail today) is, according to many people in forums etc, filled to the brim with bugs. I myself got the worst one. I paid $85 for a game that wont even start, it's not my laptop, it's not Mighty Ape's fault, its just the game itself. All I can do is go to the main menu, once I click “New Game” after about 2 – 5 seconds the game completely crashes.

If your into many hours of post apocalyptic madness this is your game it is a good buy you won't regret it

Bugger the story-line – great though it is. For me, the Wasteland is home away from home.

First of all Installation problems, nothing google cant fix, so if youre getting this and worry about previous reviews, theres a solution, other than that the game play is good heck the game itself is pretty good :D

This has to be one of the best games I've ever played, the fact that it comes with all of the DLC is a welcome bonus, and for only $13 it was a steal.

Have been recommended by so many people and this game surpasses all expectations; highly recommended. The only issue I found however, was with Windows 8 compatibility. If you have Windows 8, be in for a few bugs. Installation was a bit of a mission and I'm still not entirely sure how I ended up getting it to work, but I digress; these issues were with my system, not the game. If you're having issues don't be afraid to Google, turns out a few people have had the same issues.

Got it on ps3 way back, now getting a gaming pc I'm gonna buy it again. THE greatest post apocalyptic rpg ever!, well until Fallout 4 comes out I guess, 5 stars, 10/10

Classic game. Works fine across all platforms

Despite being a fairly aged game now it still is a great play and the user run modding sites mean you can customize your playing experience till your hearts content!

But still good, used to play when I had an Xbox just bought this because it was cheap. GOTY edition has all the DLCs all ready to go with no hassles. New Vegas is definitely a better, more refined ‘wasteland experience’ but Fallout 3 is darker, bleaker and has a more engaging main storyline

I've installed the game. Upon launching it, it crashed during the ‘new game’ setup. trying to restart the game brought an error with the xlive.dll I reset the computer. Now it won't start at all due to a securom issue with my dvd drive. Downloaded a no-cd hack that got rid of the securom problem. still the problem with xlive … downloaded the FalloutModManager from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/…e.php-id=640 and used the install tweaker tool to get the xlive problem sorted. The game still crashes when I try to start a new game.

Extremely frustrating experience. Beware!

… But It doesnt like Windows 7 too much… Tried for two days straight to install it, with no luck at all… :(

I'm really enjoying Fallout 3. The combination of interesting story, and reasonably open world is good fun. I haven't even touched the DLC yet, can't wait.

I would recommend this game.

This game is fantastic, many many hours of gameplay and excellent graphics, sound and story. It does have some bugs but they are fixable.

Always a good game, great to have the expansion packs this time – loved the speed of shipping and the price (until i found it a week later for the same price at EB). but in all seriousness – worth every cent, and id pay twice as much if I had to.

A very enjoyable RPG, with plenty to see, do and kill.

I am still playing through the base game( not up to the DLC yet ), but its been the most fun I have had with a game in a long time.

This game is sheer brilliance in computer game form. From awe-inspiring post-apocalyptic scenery to hours of immersive gameplay and storyline. With so many ways to play the game and even the ability to create your own custom content using the G.E.C.K Editor (Available from the Fallout 3 Homepage) why would you need to play anything else?! (Except maybe Fallout: New Vegas). A serious must have for any PC gamer!

Fallout 3 was a very impressive release from Bethesda Studios which offered 100s upon 100s of hours of gameplay and now with ‘Game of the year edition’ even more! The game is a must have for RPG fans and will have you becoming a vault/basement dweller yourself :)

I was a little hesitent at firswt being a fan of the originals which are not FPS. But what can I say this game is gold The V.A.T.S. System work great and is an fun alternative to blasting away which is still very fun. Awesome RPG great characters Fun Levelling systen and the best part heaps to do!!!!!!!!!! Get the GOTY version.

This game is so awesome. There is so much game play. So much blood and bodies exploding. Great game

Since its been out for a while this is pretty much telling those something they already know, but you OWE it to yourself to add this one to your collection. This game combines a fantastic 1950s post apocalyptic game elements with intense action elements with exploration and character development. This game ruined tunnel RPGs for me, now I just want to wander and do as I will. This immense freedom will keep you coming back time and time again. Did I mention it was also a cult series with huge followings for the Fallout series. I never knew this series very well, but don't be discouraged, the game does a lot to fill you in about the story and how to make the most of Capital Wasteland. One of the coolest things about this game IS the combat combined with VATS which allows you to dial in shooting enemies. You will hang out to find new and interesting ways to defeat those coming at you… All else I can add, its save lots :) This game throws alot of decisions and battles at you. You WILL love it

I put off buying this due to the setting, post apocalyptic. The non linear narrative and atmosphere to this are good, intro story is solid and I am unsure about the “ongoing” quest as I am apparently quite early in the game. There are a plethora of mods and I have been able to tailor the experience into something more age appropriate, so it goes.

This game is freakin' awesome, if you're 50/50 about getting it then GET IT!!!!! Especially now they're selling all five expansions, it gives you a whole lot more stuff to do.

Months of enjoyment

Well i think Fallout 3 fully deserves it's title Game Of The Year. The story line in it is strong as you start off being born and watch yourself grow up in the “Vault”. It's almost 100% fully interactive. There are awesome missions and weapons. AND ITS SO LONG =D! This is definitely the sort of game i know i have been waiting for a long time. This game has a twist at every turn and a “Hero” and “Villian” at every city. Fallout 3 involves YOU having to think logically and knowledgeably, this is not the kind of game you can just “muck around” and have fun on. This is a long game and involves a lot of cool things to do. A big time recommended buy. 5/5

Fallout 3 is an excellent first-person RPG. Set in a post apocalyptic future, but a future as envisaged from the 1950s – Atomic powered buses, underground vaults/shelters, and everybody's ra­dioactive favourites: giant mutated insects.

You take the role of the wasteland wanderer, and uncover many mysteries and stories amongst the ruins of Washington DC. Locks to pick, terminals to hack, and thousands of monsters and mutants to blow into tiny, tiny pieces. It has playability, a huge area to explore (mapped out online, and excellent walkthroughs are available) and replayability as you go through it a second time playing the bad guy, assuming you played as the good guy first time through!

The controls are simple to master, the game-play is absorbing, the humour is very tongue-in-cheek and there is enough gore to make it deserve its rating – not for the very young, or the squeamish.

Games really don't get much better than Fallout 3 – except for this edition, which adds in all five of the expansions for it.

Fallout 3 is a wonderful game that will keep you entertained for some time too come.You start out as a vault resident and through some mysterious mishaps your running out of the vault in fear of your life.Then you're thrust into a huge grand role playing adventure that is just fun, immersive and just great all at the same time.

Fallout 3 has everything that you want a great story, a character you will build up the way you want stats and all and a huge grand scope. This is one of those games that you'll be sad its over just because it seems these kinda games come around only once in a blue moon. It also does a grand job of guiding you along the way so you don't feel lost but never really feel like the games sheltering you.

This game is a masterpiece and you should play it no matter what. Forget all those mmorpgs especially one that comes too mind when you hear that term, and find out what a real rpg is like that doesn't restrict the other important things in your life.

A great game that is made greater with the DLC. While the DLC is a bit of a mixed bag it adds some variety which fans of the vanilla FO3 experience will appreciate. It can be a bit confusing in what order to play but it doesn't really matter. There's plenty of discussion on the net about it. Just enable them all and choose at your leisure. I did it in the following order: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta, Brotherhood of Steel. Brotherhood of Steel extends the level cap to 30 but you don't actually need to initiate the quest for this to happen :) A bargain for under 3 digits. Boom.

Where do I begin? Since it's incarnation Fallout 3 have had 5 upgrades to the main game, and this twin DVD pack gives you all of them at once. To enjoy it properly, just install DVD1 till you've completed the game, then install the second disc to get all the expansions.

The dialogs in this game is simply amazing, for once a game that doesn't treat you like a three year old and spell out everything explicitly and excessively. Subtle clues and a bit of dark humour are littered through out the game. You can play it like an action game or rpg or however you like depending on your mood is strangely satisfying. The openness of the game may be a turn off for those requiring hand holding and a bright yellow arrow pointing at where the “next” mission is at. But for an adventurous soul, this game will keep you entertained for hours, and hours, and hours. A must get for those wanting an immerse experience.

Fallout 3 Bethesda Game Studios has done it again in making an awesome RPG after creating The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fallout 3 is the 3rd part in the Fallout series and has changed in some parts. Changes are the 3d world, 1st and 3rd person view and the over style of combat and exploring.

The game is set 200 years after an atomic world war. Most if not all of the world has been destroyed and new deadly creatures roam the wasteland. You have the choice to “help the good fight” or take it all for your self!

When you play this game, you don't have to had play the first 2, but you may miss out on some of the references to them.

Gameplay- 8/10 Smooth and slick, nice controls Sound- 10/10 Excellent Sound that can scared you to death! Graphics- 9/10 The Graphics aren't anywhere near as good as crysis but you can still see the detail of a nuclear war! Story- 10/10 PERFECT with the GOTYE add-ons!
