Extreme Machines - Aircraft Carriers

Extreme Machines is dedicated to finding out how machines work.

With unbelievable access aboard the U.S. Navy’s huge floating fortress the John C. Stennis, this program will bring about a new awareness regarding the enormity and variety of all the systems and machinery on board – each one an Extreme Machine in their own right. We also look into a variety of other carriers from the U.S. Marines to the British Navy. We see the carriers in a variety of temperatures from the dry, burning heat of the equator to the bleak frozen temperatures of the Arctic.
